I received this entry in in a box dropped off at my Captain’s Quarters in the Mehatoor 24th Imperial Station from “Anonymous”. As s my practice with entries submiitted this way. it will be considered with the participant’s name only known to the judges and if they win and allow it, at the award’s ceremony. This is a poem and will be considered in the poetry category.

With all my heart I always believed in you.
And as you look down on me I was right.
You made your way in with the brightest glow.
Fighting the evil in the darkest night.

Walking towards the sun Getting closer to the light
Now the pain is gone.

Life forces us to make lots of decisions
And sometimes we really do not know.
If we are wrong or if we do the right thing
Sometimes we’ll fade and some other time we will glow

A swarm of Essity birds leads me the way
Shine bright as stars at night or like the sun in the day
The mountains remind me of how small I am
Who did I betray?

I have seen a lot but also missed so much
I know what happened, still cannot recall
Have crossed borders turned and walked back
I felt a harsh angel of death, I was not welcome.

Walking towards the sun, getting closer to the light
Now the pain is gone.

Like the memories I do not recall.
