I left the terrestrial tendrils
To follow the song of the stars
That sang of beauty
That burn away the pain inside
They gave me fire and passion
To view what others could not see
It took away the pains inside
And I did feel free
There came a feeling though
Of what I did not know
In a quiet moment, it was felt
And I knew that I was unwhole
Then
I meet you
So kind and caring
It was you I needed
You I had sought
The one who could provide
What was missing from the stars
