I’m sorry you missed it. I did everything I could to promote it, and even CCP mentioned it in the news and one of their streams ![]()
Maybe you can still submit something very rough in the last couple of days ![]()

Maybe you can still submit something very rough in the last couple of days ![]()
Since today is June 17, there’s still about 5 more days left…
Here is my submission. I call it the “Minmatar Decorative Puzzle Medallion” ![]()
It’s a Medallion made from the branch of an alien tree. In old fashion I did it all by hand like the ancient Vherokior shamans did when they created similar artifacts in the past ![]()
It’s very important if you chop down a tree to preserve it’s spirit, the story is that nomadic tribes created puzzles (way more delicate than this simple one) to give their children something to fiddle with and at the same time not anger the spirit of the tree and transform it into a protective guardian spirit for the child ![]()
Here are some other decorative usecases for the Medallion:
Friends of the Tribes, tomorrow after DT the contest ends. There was a bit of confusion since there was a typo with the date 22nd of July instead of June and ofc I just realized the error today @_@
If you have some submissions you are still working on for July 22nd as the deadline I’m really sorry.
Please speak up, If there are multiple people we can just wait for you to finish. otherwise we will rank the artworks tomorrow ![]()

This message was posted on various GalNet channels concerning upcoming Liberation Day celebrations.
As we approach the 148th anniversary of the Great Rebellion, I decided to delve into the Minate Clan’s archives to share a story about my clan and my paternal grandfather, after whom I was named in honor of his service to his people. He was a slave military engineer who rebelled against his holder during the Rebellion and later joined the resistance. In these challenging times, it is important to remember and honor the bravery, struggles, and sacrifices of our ancestors and to do our best to finish what they began.
Located in orbit around Hror XI and existing partly thanks to financial aid for our nation’s reconstruction, the Nyr Upp-haf station was still under construction, although the essential areas for supporting a society were already operational. This was evident as soon as we disembarked from the ships in the hangar, where technicians were applying the final touches to the section. It wasn’t very large, but enough to support a small clan. Approximately 1,000 people emerged from the transport vessels, all Sebiestors, carrying suitcases, bags, and other belongings. Most were comrades-in-arms with who I served under Commander Minate’s leadership. Many were with family members, while others seemed to have found new ones and invited them to live there. Implants and other augmentations were not uncommon among those who had previously been part of the resistance. I recognized many faces, but others were sadly absent despite having survived the war. I knew that many stayed in the army, stationed at the borders and often fighting against the Ammatars and the Empire itself, while others joined different clans or became freemen. I still miss most of them, especially Ilder. I haven’t heard much from them, but I hope they’re doing well too.
Most of the visitors went to settle into their assigned quarters, myself included. They’re basic, but you can live there in a more or less comfortable way. A lot of effort has been put into making the station as self-sufficient as possible and more decent than most other settlements in the new Republic. Being single and childless, I was given relatively small quarters. There was just a single bed, a small bathroom, a small kitchen, and some storage. The Commander’s speech was due to begin in five hours, and I was one of the few invited to attend in person while the other residents were encouraged to listen via the station’s intercom. After packing my things, I went outside to explore the station a bit, taking a look at the mess hall, the training rooms, and the areas where we would produce food and other essential supplies. It wasn’t very high-tech for now, but that could change if the clan grew in numbers, wealth, and influence.
Some time later, the speech was about to begin. I went to the conference room, which had been specially rearranged for the occasion, and sat down with the rest of the Commander’s most trusted soldiers. There were about 40 of us in the room. After a while, Commander Michael Minate entered and stood behind the lectern in the center of the stage. Like the rest of us, he wore his rebel officer’s uniform, though his facial expression and demeanor gave the impression that he hadn’t truly left the army.
“What is a nation?” he began. “It’s a broad question, and the answer will vary from person to person, but almost everyone agrees on what constitutes a nation: its government and the institutions and politics that go with it, its people, but in my opinion above all: its culture and traditions. We, the Minmatar people, reclaimed our homeworld and more from the Amarr vermin thanks to the ingenuity of the Sebiestors and Thukkers, the martiality of the Brutors, the slyness of the Krusuals, and the spirituality of the Vherokiors, as well as our pride and our love for freedom. They couldn’t keep us under their yoke because they couldn’t destroy our culture and traditions. Annihilating our heritage was the precondition for them to be able of dominate us. Without it we are nothing, so cherish it! Protect it and let no one turn you away from it!”
Applause erupted in the room, then he continued.
“What is life? It is an even broader and more complex question than the previous one, but here is my personal answer: it is a war. A constant war for the survival of the individuals and their communities. The Minmatar people have won a significant battle against the vile slavers, but not the war itself. As long as their abominables mistakes of an empire and religion continues to exist and to keep even a single Minmatar enslaved, the war against them must continue. War requires effort and determination, and we can never work or fight hard enough in such dark times.”
"It is following these reflections that I declare the founding of the Minate Clan of the Sebiestor Tribe, that I name myself chief of this clan and declare its objective: to rebuild our great Empire through the strength of our culture and these thoughts in order to continue this war for the survival of our civilization. The Starkmanirs are gone, the Thukkers don’t want to join us, the traitorous Nefantar have decided to remain alongside the filthy Amarr races and our civilization, our republic, and our heritage are in a pitiful state, but we finally have the chance to make our nation greater and more powerful than ever, and it is certain that one day the time will come to win this war for our existence once and for all! Long live Matar!”
An even louder thunder of applause erupted. Chief Michael Minate raised his fist, and we all stood up and did the same, repeating “Long live Matar!” like the most sacred of mentrats.
“From Slavery to Freedom: Memories of the Great Rebellion.” Chapter 14, by Ernargur Ostus. BYC20
This excerpt was shared on behalf of the Ostus Family of the Minate Clan.
Michael Minate Sr. and Ernargur Ostus sadly died more than 40 years ago in the Vindication Wars, but their creations will never be forgotten as long as traces of their existence remain. They were not clones, but they will remain immortalas long as they are remembered.
- Michael Minate Jr., capsuleer, Voshud Major of the Tribal Liberation Force and leader and founder of the Matari loyalist Einherjar Foundation.
This is my entry
It is the artwork of a conflict between an Amarr Pilot who has been totally repulsive of a Minmatar pilots correspondence.
/ I feel that this entry could be shared to those who understand this fight!

There was a bit of confusion since there was a typo with the date 22nd of July instead of June
Wow, I didn’t even realize it was the wrong month when I quoted the ending date… However subliminally I knew the correct date for the end of the contest…

“The Call of Khumaak”
Starkmanir Tribe and The Legend of Drupar Maak
On the planet Arzad II (Starkman Prime), the largest of the Minmatar Tribes—the Starkmanir— lived under brutal Amarr enslavement. During an interrogation by the tyrannical Royal Heir Arkon Ardishapur, a Minmatar slave named Drupar Maak was pushed to a breaking point. Driven by primeval instinct to protect a hidden rebellion, Maak lunged forward, ripped the golden three-foot commanding scepter out of the Royal Heir’s hands and beat his Amarrian master to death with it.
Originally, the scepter was not a weapon at all. It was an ancient Amarrian religious and authoritative staff dating back to the pre-Reclaiming era, topped with a spiked solar disc.
Overnight, this religious tool of oppression became a universal symbol of Minmatar resistance. Drupar Maak’s defiance sparked an immediate, massive slave revolt on Starkman Prime. The word Khumaak literally translates to “Hand of Maak”.
However, the Amarr response was swift and merciless. To punish the defiance and wipe out the rebellion, the Amarr Empire ordered the complete orbital bombardment of the planet which they believed had completely eliminated the Starkmanir Tribe.
Because of that act, the ‘Khumaak’ quickly became a resistance symbol, encouraging all enslaved Minmatar to answer the call…
The ‘Call Of Khumaak’.
Thank you for the nice submissions in the last hours.

UPDATE:
After some discussions on Discord and some feedback I came to the conclusion we will give people another week to submit artworks. The new deadline is June 29th 11:00 EVE TIME!
I’m sorry for the confusion about the month and maybe we will get some more submissions this way. Winners and rankings will be announced on 1st of July!
The Minmatar propaganda image I posted recently on various social media seemed to have compressed the image quality down so much that you couldn’t see the details on the “dithering” that I used for the shading and kind of made it look like I didn’t really bother.
They look “fine” when observed on the computer but on a phone not so much. Anyway here is a zoomed-in image on what the details were supposed to look like.
Cpt Armarlio
Concept art for a new T3 Frigate.
I wanted to create something I would enjoy flying, but spend a bit of time trying to actually balance the boni towards a mixture of Navy Frigate and AF. And to be honest, I just wanted to play around with the colours and brushes…
I want to add, that this was not created solely for this event, but I still wanted to share it!
Inspired by Crusader Hellsing’s work, something that was actually made for this event!
I was trying some things in GIMP and found a way to get a pretty interesting effect.
