imagine complaining about getting something for free, CCP should just go back to not having login events if people arent going to be grateful.

someone working at CCP took time, time which is paid for by the company to code this. Do you believe it was a usefull allocation of resources? You know stuff that says heres what you get when its not, getting a blueprint to build 800 isk worth of small t1 ammo, or the best yet giving random consume on redeem boosters for untrained skills/weapon systems (or getting a box of air if the pilot hasnt even trained the skill to enable booster use).

Isnt there enough stuff going on right now that they would be worrying more about patch tweaks and balance updates given the fairly huge sweeping update they launched barely a week ago? I guess the answer is yes, it would be better to not bother because getting 800 isk of t1 ammo, or a missile booster on a beam laser pilot is as usefull as not having this login thing at all, and it would move that employee onto something like QA testing or something valuable to the main heavy hitting releases, like changing every resist profile by 20%, you know?

I don’t forget hat. I have traded almost a decade in this game and have Chars that fly Impel and Providence as well. And not only in HighSec, I hauled enough RawMats and CapitalParts into Wormholes with these ships to build small capital fleets. You can count these Jumps into potentially deadly territorry in the hundreds. So maybe you think I have little to no experience with these expensive ships and higly dangerous cargo runs, but I assure you: I do.

Please answer me a single question: At what point would you agree that “Gankers” have done enough effort and investment to successfully gank your tank-fitted DST? How many Chars must they combine, how many Tornados/Catalysts must be involved at least to justify the fact that your ship was blown to pieces before CONCORD could safe you? Or do you want a situation, which makes it virtually impossible to gank a DST in HighSec?

I don’t want to troll you, I am really interested to know how much “safety” you consider adequate or how much value you would like to transport in these ships before someone can even think about making profit with a gank.

Honestly this 18.04 release is snake oil. The game is becoming boring like hell and CCP has absolutely no respect for the time and money people spent during months or years to be a specialist in something.

Instead of doing intelligent things CCP insists on those “rebalancing” (aka lack of guts to do the right way). Lots of people are leaving the game, including myself. I started playing in 2006 and swallowed lots of ridiculous and unnecessary nerfs that clearly had the goal of just to make money. Mess with skills, modules and the players would have to spend more time and money to readapt. I’m done, and putting all my 10 accounts in alpha with no plans to upgrade to omega for a loooooong time.

Wanna make the game more interesting ?

  1. Open the Jove space.

  2. Make collisions work for God sake ! Collisions between ships with damage ! Collisions with asteroids and structures !

  3. To be able to use ships, structures and asteroids as a shield against hybrids, lasers and projectile (live long Homeworld !)

  4. All ships having limited FUEL like Elite (the original)

Do the basic homework instead of nerfing everything every patch.

People spent sometimes billions of ISK fitting ships with expensive modeules like A-Type and Officer, and now they sucks ? This is like CCP acting like a pickpocket.

I could adapt of course, but I don’t have neither the time or patience to waste and probably have CCP doing the same sh*** again in the next path. It’s a never ending money sink cycle.

This game is dying, wake up CPP, make it interesting again. Some years ago it was normal to see 50-60K players on line, now the average is less than 30K. Coincidence ? Even with COVID and lots of people at home ? No way…

Obviously it’s not necessary to say that everyone knows that CCP is a business and their goal is to earn money. But at least don’t treat people like idiots. Keeping the old players is important as bringing new ones (that will leave faster that you think if CCP insists in doing the same mistakes over and over again)

Oh, i agree. I love this change, and my only wish was that it should have happened much sooner.
But I expect a lot of larger alliances all over to not agree, seeing as they now have to spend extra isk on fuel

If you’ve got a larger alliance than mine in mind, lemme know who they are so we can kill them. :wink:

@CCP_Dopamine Do abandoned structures in high sec need to be wardec’d, or if abandoned can anyone shoot it without incurring a criminal/suspect timer ? That would be the thing to do for abandoned structures, let anyone clean them off the grid.

I’d imagine they need to be wardec’d, just because setting up that kind of mechanical exemption would be… tricky, and easy to abuse. Besides, if it’s truly abandoned, it’ll still die. If it’s not, the poke of ‘hey, we’re gonna kill this if you don’t get your act together’ is helpful.

I’d be happy to see if you guys would actually fight any of the larger alliances in 0,0. Because this game needs war, not this boring peace all the time.

How long after the patch will structures go into abandoned? Will we have to wait a week to start killing structures or will structures that meet the abandoned criteria immediately go into abandoned status?

Im guessing you need a war dec, seeing as thats what you need to do to kill those pesky pos’s in high sec

Well, as I’ve said before, you’re not going to see a real, major bloc-level war in nullsec until supercapitals, structures, and sov are fixed. This is a good first step on the second of those, but only that: 1 step, on 1 part of the issue.

As long as supercapitals en masse are only really at risk en masse from other supercapitals, they’re functionally necessary to hold sov, because the answer to any incursion with subcaps is ‘drop supers with just enough capital/subcap support to hold the other guys down while the supercarriers bubble-paint them and the titans BFG their inflated-signature butts into oblivion’.
As long as supercapitals are functionally necessary for holding sov, losing your supercapital fleet means losing your ability to recover from losing your space.
If you can’t recover from losing your space, you not only can’t fight ‘this’ war, you can’t fight the next one, either, because you’re still trying to recover.
At that point, you’re pretty much locked out of sov warfare for at least [How long does it take you to build a full fleet of titans?]
Which means nobody can afford to lose their supercapitals.
If we can’t afford to lose them, they’re not going to be seriously risked.
If they’re not going to be seriously risked, then they’re not going to blow up in any significant numbers.

Kind of a vicious cycle, and the only way to break it is for CCP to make supercapitals no longer a necessity to holding sov.

The Nerf is now making impossible to play for Cloaky Campers with big ships, the puss way to play eve , Where I am there is now 41 .
CCP I could try to the new game stile when you fix The Cloak problem that is a stupid way to play the game !! So I will sell all my stuff all my caps , Unsub all and come back to the game if you 1 take away cloak from game or 2 make a way to scan them down after they do not move for some time !!! This nerf and Cloak is very very bad !!!
