its a sad way of trying to increase revenue, more ship losses would lead to more isk spent, which in itself would lead to more plex purchases. but i think a lot of ppl will just unsub like me, but who knows

I guess it’s s fine to devalue very blingy doctrines. Its not so funny how the same amount of people tell exactly the same story ‘mimimi now you have 10 less Omegas subscribed’. Maybe hand em cheese to the whine :wink:

Marauders need some serious love. The unexpected bump up in scan resolution from 30 to 40% on all the t1/faction hulls just pushes them further into a single niche, and not being included in the EHP buff keeps them down.

With the base HP increases and the much defanged resists they have, most of the pirate hulls have far more EHP than their equivalents AND more damage AND better scan resolution AND similar application after EWAR.

SURE but, you know, Marauders are well known gank magnets so CCP tries to make ganktards life even more easier…also notice every ganked Marauder pilot is potential PLEX buyer! Let’s assume fitted Marauder price is at least 2b ISK. That is at least 30 EUR going straight into CCP pocket…and ganktards may come back very soon! :grinning:

But that is only high-sec. Let’s look at null-sec where all those glass cannon supers try to undock with “support” of dead FAXes…every super is at least 300 EUR of potential revenue! :rofl:

Which is a shame.
Trying to get people to wallet tank ganking is not healthy for the game, long term.
You lose those PVE players over time, and may or may not replace them if that impression becomes widespread.

They have to fly what they can afford to replace, I think majority have enough ISK already.

And if we’re talking typical gank target, they really can’t replace it exactly because they’re always upgrading, frequently in interesting but non-optimal directions.

I agree, i have lost count how many times i have had to refit ships after another alteration to modules.

Not everyone in this game pvp’s , many play constructively not destructively .

Please fix all of the ongoing issues, local chat channel drop outs, still unable to add players to existing chat channels and unnecessary red dots still. etc

Ok, you definitely don’t know what you’re talking about.

Those who’ve called out this transparent and short-sighted attempt by CCP to pad their profit margins at the expense of the player experience have pretty much said all that needs to be said. My interest in the game continues to diminish with every patch – the opposite of what thoughtful game design and evolution should accomplish. I’m so sorry I missed this game when it was healthy – I arrived late to the party, and I can’t help but feel the lights are going to come on soon and the bartender will shout, “Last call!” :anguished:

How is this in anyway an attempt to “pad their profit margins”?

If you mean “making balance patches to improve the health of a game so that more people enjoy playing it in the long term”, maybe? But that’s not what you all mean. Are you kids just banding together in some basement and coordinating to parrot some nonsense?

As i understand it, its to cause more ship looses across the board.

This in nullsec will cause massive replacements after battles, but with the last set of resource updates makes it near impossible to mine minerals for even a battleship let alone anything bigger.

This will cause nullsec corps to dip into their mineral reserves and bring minerals in from lowsec and highsec at higher prices.

This if you look at is part of the rebalancing or wealth CCP/BA have been talking about for a while.

The bugger is it effects everyone.

CCP - have you forgot about reactive armor hardeners? It’s now totally OP and “musthave” module for all armor tanked ships.

The same goes for armor and shield flex hardeners for capitals(maybe less op, but still they’re unchanged).

It will also fill CCP pocket with $$$ of course!
