1st impression of Eve, New Warpath patch is bugged up something stupid

Defense grid thing is super bugged, everyone in game saying it’s dog ■■■■.

Too many bugs to mention.

also relic sites are bugged, don’t despawn after looting etc

quartermaster seems bugged too, can’t interact?

Not a good 1st impression for a Mmorpg been going 20 years?

So you tell me other MMORPGs like WoW do not have any glitches and gamebreaking bugs when they release and expansion or do an event? Never?

This is a classic case of whataboutism.

The fact that other MMORPGs like WoW experience bugs during major releases does not excuse or justify the broken state of this specific event in EVE Online. We are not playing WoW; we are playing a 23-year-old subscription-based game where event bugs are actively destroying years of hard-earned faction standings and locking players out of the content here and now.

Instead of deflecting and lowering the standards for CCP, we should hold the developers accountable for releasing untested, bug-ridden content that breaks basic game mechanics.

Alright, your point is very valid, but also very different from the OP. For the OP it is the first impression and won’t do that much damage to any years of hard-earned faction standings because they don’t exist for the OP.
It is just annoying then and can be ignored. They can play the game without doing the events.

However, for you with years of experience and faction standings to lose, i would expect you to do bug reports and tickets day and night to raise awareness. And also you should know it already that any arbitrary forum section will not cover dev attention. For that there are the specific release threads in the EVE Information Portal section of the forums and the bug tickets in the ticket system.

I have already submitted multiple bug reports and a detailed support ticket regarding the standing losses for my character.

But aiming for a good game means refusing to accept poor, untested content in the first place. Whether it’s through a ticket or directly on the forums, calling out these broken mechanics publicly raises awareness for the entire player base. Silence only encourages more poorly designed events.
