I’m probably a bit late to reply but I think the guy who said that was suggesting that CCP start making refunds for subscriptions (as in real money refunds not ISK), or I guess refunding the PLEX if you used that to get Omega time. SP would be nice but I don’t really expect anything.
IF CCP is going to reimburse the players for the inconvinience caused, it’ll probably not happen before the major problems are fixed. Patience. They are working on it. I’m quite sure that neither their management nor the Developers themselves are very happy with the state of the game right now.
Yes we need to be patient, yes it takes time to get things fixed. However you are looking at it from the perspective of a single player. Yes - you can take week off and come back when it is fixed. However…
If you are in null sec waging a war with guys who are there to make mess and destroy, camp, and reinforce destroy structures and toast the I’hubs it stops to be so simple.
The damage they do can not be fixed by petition to GM and may take a few days or longer to put it back right again.

Chat is still broken as of 1040 eve time, not updating at all. Good for PvP though lol.
CCP hopefully will reimburst members. but are they also going to reimburst lost ingame isk?
what about people who need the time to plex their accounts.
i know for a fact that i loose tons. so will others. CCP WONT REIMBURS that .

heavy losses allready due to local chat not syncing fast enough or local not showing the neuts and enemy’s untill they got you tackled allready.

In life if one wants a good reaction and relationship with one’s children/employees/customers, one praises and rewards their good behaviour, even if the results are unfortunate.
CCP and the Devs, have put immense effort into giving us the most wide ranging update in a long time. There have undoubtedly been issues, and they are unfortunate, but the will to give us something good was and is there.
Let’s not forget that, and support their good intentions, above all.
As for compensation? This is actually something worth remembering, People going far beyond the call of duty to make things great, to improve our game, and a day or two of some disruption are nothing compared to the gains we will all enjoy over many months and years.
So If CCP have a ship model, that can act as a memorial of their efforts and our patience, like a Logi, or a nice alpha ship, they could release that to the players, that will be a lovely reminder of the “great downtime of 2018”, that led to so many great improvements for us.

Reimbursement will be for inconvenience,you can still train skills so sp mostly unlikely.Expect some new skin called"blackout" or something.

Secondly, I’d like to add a further critical issue to the list: right clicking people in chat channel member lists doesn’t seem to work most of the time.
Somewhen today March 1.3 Release has been deployed, though they haven’t mentioned it in OP. We will see what comes with Downtime.
Wait, what? Still no connection to Tranquility? How come I can see ~13.000 logged in?
Chat is not delayed… it drops connection on players and don’t update all players who are in system.
Please provide accurate information in your posts and ETA on resolution. Any update would be appreciated since there has been none for last 12 hours and EVE still broken.

I agree. In my line of work I have learned that often ‘bad news’ is better the no news… this way at least we know that someone up there is working on fix
Dear developers, you disconnect the server often. It is probably more accurate to tell the players that the game will not be available for several days.

- 24 hours after patch and chat is still bugged.
- 20 March 2018, 6 hours after the patch, ISK lost for no bounties, local in WHs, problem with buy orders/sell orders, drones not being seen in bay, etc, etc. server offline multiple times.
- 6th march and 13th march - first and second mass test for new chat system.
Are you telling me that this massive change of infrastructure and change of core software was fixed in only 14days (of which not all are working days?)
I understand their hard work, but i also hope they have more experience with their own product as they run it since 2003. This failure could have been EASILY predicted.
Real money account payer, btw. I don’t PLEX my accounts, i never did, so i would love that these test to be done properly, not on players’ gametime / money . End of the day, CCP runs a business, not a charity.
