Server is back - local still bugged. +10 standing player in local as neut :frowning:

Hey CCP, do plan on giving us ANY detail about fixing this or you want us to play like this? because for sure I’m not loggin in as long as you don’t give us back the game as it was.

I thought CCP Seagull’s “Second Decade” model was supposed to prevent foul ups like this lol this new chat system seems very very rushed out the door after only a few weeks of a mass test. I understand that its difficult to stress test on SiSi with lack of players and the ones on there preferring to PvP for free or test fits instead of testing…but still come on lol if a feature isn’t ready, wasnt is supposed to go onto the back burner with this new philosophy?

It’s called D-scan low sec’ers have been surviving for years easily even with other people in their local constantly, nullsec isnt supposed to be easy.

I agree with you, the delayed local has been very FUN. But wait until all prices skyrocket due to null sec industry grinding to a halt. Now that will be ‘‘fun’’.

People will have worked late, some through the night, with the accompanying stress and pressure, but that’s ok they earn a salary. /s

I don’t think any sane person would imply that they deliberately set out to ruin your day, they most of all want to ensure you have a seamless experience, and don’t get your panties all bunched up.

There is NO way short of having identical test hardware, AND identical databases, AND identical loading to prevent these black swan meltdowns. No one wanted them, no one would not want to avoid them, and no one knew this was going to happen.

So yes I stand by my comments that they tried to give us an awesome update, and are individually going beyond the call of duty to put things right. And for that they deserve encouragement and support to give us awesome updates in the future. Sniping at them when things go wrong only encourages someone not to try in the first place.

Sorry if that offends your sense of self entitlement.

It appears that local does not drop connections on players atm… at least it hasn’t done it since downtime… it does still have ‘standing’ blue/neut issue. Had player with stand +10 on local as a neut.
