depends on which connections are being hit. The people who are getting online are most likely close to the server. Those of us who canât, are most likely very far away.
I think theyâre doing a slow load (letting only a set few people back into the server at a time as to not overload it).

Well it really depends on how long it lasts. But aside from the cost of SP and gametime. CCP wouldnât have to divert resources from other game things to deal with the server if these attacks wouldnât happen.
Yeah it keeps closing on me as well. Been trying every few minutes but no luck yet.
How the hell can people blame CCP for a DDOS attack? I am enjoying the only 6,900+ members online. EVE is running so smooth right now.

When companies like google get taken down by ddos, and their servers are designed to handle half the planet how hard does ccp need to make it?
It all depends on how much money or how commited the attacker is.

Thatâs because AT&T doesnât want you to know they are one of the worst internet providers available. Companies with nothing to hide donât do that. Iâm a big fan of a free market - if I donât like your business methods, I go with a different company.
