“17:15 UTC - CONNECTIVITY TO TQ IS RESTORED”

It’s 17:45 and when I launch my client it loads the UI but gives me a “Connection Lost - The socket was closed” error message. I tried to open a support ticket but the support website won’t allow me to log in.

Perhaps you could read the thread, and then take a wild guess as to why you can’t get in ??

I am glad that I am such a lowly miner, mining all that ore, reprocessing, PI, and building all your mods, ships etc, so that you can buy them at extortionate prices (I sell less then Jita price) but some bright spark ruins all that by attacking me, oh joy, I am so glad i can.t log in to make cheap stuff lol

Why are people trying so hard to get back into a server that is under active DDoS attack?

A server that will likely go down again at any moment without warning?

‘I got in’ - congratulations you idiot.

You’re not allowed to build stuff! Only we can!

If someone has done this to protect a Citadel, imagine having a contact like that. Obviously it is bad, shouldn’t be done and all I’m just imagining what the chain of orders would have been like, “Protect the Citadel!”, “Call in more ships!”, “Get Dave to shut it down”.

Maybe because CCP said basically “all clear” at 17:15 and hasn’t updated since.

Because they’re hoping they can get in just long enough to dock before things go kaboom? Maybe? I don’t know, I just try to give people the benefit of the doubt…

Could we please get an update on “Socket was closed” on login

Socket still closed

It uses the brain.

The brain works the eyeballs.

The eyeballs allow reading of the comments here that make it clear things are no better.

It forms it’s own opinion.

Socket was closed due to over loading with adaptors

Maybe because, like me, they have a ship in a vulnerable place and want to get it to safety ?

I feel that their ISP needs to step up to the plate and keep this sh*t from happening. I do not see Level3, Google, Amazon just to name a few having this problem…

I have ships out and a cloaky camper wanting to play hide, and hide - does that count
