Part of combating a ddos attack is blocking new incoming connections. Those who were already connected are still online. That’s why you see 18k online.

Thanks, now we have the details we need along with details from other players, all in one place, and that will help us in the investigation on why the DDoS Scrubbing is having these issues.

Wouldn’t it be nice if CCP would say what they do and DO NOT have control over. Then maybe, they wouldn’t completely disrespect their clients by having them completely waste their time rebooting, reloading etc. This is why people are mad. Just admit things are screwed right now. But no, you are more than willing to WASTE a HUGE amount of your customer’s time by jumping through needless, pointless hoops.

CCP didn’t suggest rebooting reloading etc.

As of 1754 Central time, Campbellsville, KY, still not able to fully log on. I’m able to select my character, then the socket closes.

They asked for a support ticket. Not a bug report. They’re different things, which go to different people.

No, they just left everything to nebulous uncertaintly…leaving their clients to trial and error…without response saying it wont help

I’m from the East Coast too. It’s still a no go for me either.

I suppose I can agree that communication is important. The Eve Status twitter hasn’t posted for 4 hours even though we’re currently under attack again.
