So what is the point of a DDOS attack? What is it really accomplishing if all assets are safe, etc. I just don’t get it.

I think CCP need’s to find out why these guys are DDOS’ing for what reason and make it worse for them everytime they DDOS.

a DDoS maybe be a prelude to a full system hack attack, usually the aim is stealing credit card numbers or other valuable personal data info

in short tons and tons of money
