I tried it. It didn’t work!

It can be, that CCP is blocking some IP Adresses because of the attack at the moment.
Btw. The Support will have it’s own “DOS Attack” at the moment, so it can take a little bit of time before they can answer. :wink:

I did just restart and tried again and it did work. not sure if the advise was good or just a coincidence.

The restart solution solved it for me. May not fix it for everyone, but if you haven’t tried restarting your PC, doing so may fix it.

So wait we got another DDOS attack or did something ■■■■ up on CCP’s side?

this reprots that traq is accepting connections. for the last 4 hours i have tried to get on and everytime i get to the in game screen, socket closed. verytime so far

Interesting. I can only get online if I VPN out of my region (out of North East USA). If I VPN to Chicago, NJ or Iceland it works fine. I can try more places around the world but not sure if that will beneficially add any information.

I cannot get online without using a VPN.

Was having same problem for 30 minutes. Managed to log back in after PC restart.

Which rather suggests that CCP are blocking by IP address.

Log in. Get in. Try and open industry for blueprints. Socket closes. And then back to socket closed error message!

thats nothing, I saw some guys lost whole incursion fleet due to the disconnect, at least 10b lost

So many hi sec tears… from all over EVE. Some one just war-decced CCP.

Do not worry, give it a break. All will be fine when attacker gets borred owning CCP. Certainly it will be less than wardec period in game.

Trying to login “en masse” do not help CCP at all. Please stop the launcher and give them some time to recover.
