It is unplayably laggy right now, but it least gives me a chance to check my transactions and escalation timers. Weāll let these scum waste their CPU power and electricity bringing further risk to them getting caught; Meanwhile, we stand strong as a community, effectively unaffected, and laugh at them when their script kiddie shenanigans catch up with them.

That will just put more strain on the servers, best to check back every 30 min to an hour or so. Find something fun to do in the meantime. The DDoS will surely end sooner rather than later.
Some 8 hours later after the initial DDoS attack, and iām still getting the āclosed socketā message. FML

Is there anyway to stop an unknown insane person from waking up one day and committing a crime? No. Is their anyway to completely prevent or negate a DDoS attack? Same answer. I assure you CCP is spending their time right now collecting data so that they can prosecute, which is the best that they can do in this situation. And āSocket Closedā is the norm right now, nothing to worry about

Lost connection in warp 4 hours ago because of DDoS.
Went did other things.
Now after character selection, just blank screen for 9+ minutes.
Launcher shows 31-32k online so is it just me thatās in limbo or are we still having attacks and I will be able to login normally once they subside?
The server cluster is completely unstable right now; itās not just you, itās everyone. Just check back every 30 minutes to an hour. Let them keep DDoSing. The longer they go, the more data and more intensive criminal investigation will ensue.

still have not been able to connect. On login from player selection screen, āconnection Lost (the socket was closed)ā. same error now for many hoursā¦
