Very wise man once say be patient … content cannot be rushed … that being said CCP usually does a pretty amazing job of keeping eve from falling apart at the hyperlinks ! so take your time do it right guys and we look forward to seeing what improvements youve made. Oh yes and just to save the rage comments … can i have SP … NO … can i have isk … NO … can i have free ships / skins … NO … can I say thank you for making an awesome game … why yes and if more people did that the Devs would probably all have heart attacks and their heads would explode … so try it … say thank you !

Yeah, there’d be times when it would literally be down for days after an expansion. That was back when you could only queue up 24 hours of skills at a time (or one skill that would take longer than a day to complete). It was almost mandatory that you had to log in everyday just to keep your skill queue up to date.
Now that you can load up to 50 skills at a time and there’s no (real) limit on how long the queue can be, there’s no excuse for people to always be complaining that they are losing SPs because DT lasted a few minutes longer than normal. I highly doubt all those people timed their queues to expire right after DT.
Not to mention that the amount of SP you could potentially lose if you couldn’t log in for an extra 15-20 minutes wouldn’t be worth whining about anyways.

I wonder if they will promise us SP for the downtime just like they did when the new crap chat system was put in lol.

Has nothing unexpected every happened in your life before? Does every little thing in your life fit in your perfect little schedule?
No, stuff happens, deal with it.
If something so insignificant as an unexpected, key word there, UNEXPECTED, extension of downtime throws you off this bad maybe you need to take a good long look at your life

I’m rather worried. I’m a new player and I was in the middle of hauling my net worth to a new system. Now the downtime has been extended so much that I have to go to bed (I’m in Australia). And no, I didn’t see the notice. I hope its all there when I log back in.

Sadly, london is currently infested with fedos, and an entire flock was sucked into the fans of the servers, CCP is currently scraping the dried fedo meat off of the fan blades and replacing the fans whose blades fractured by hitting fedo skull. Who could have predicted this?

they should install webs to keep those fedos in check
it wil be. When the server goes down you are removed from space. You will come back and warp back to the last spot you were at. As long as there isn’t some crazy dude waiting right there for however long you sleep, you’ll be fine 
Btw, do we get someting from that downtime ? New patch ? Bugfixes ? anything
