Are you fearless?
I’ll take this as a compliment actually. Salty vets hate to hear it but a healthy future of this game lies more within Alphas than Omegas.
abyssal incursions yay or ney? that is all for me
I think they already have those
What do you mean “introduce”?
Has CCP got any GROUNDBREAKING vision for EVE, something for us to be Really Excited about (Something Like Dust 415 back in the Day, but on PC this time)
or is Eve just kicking the can down the road with shoulder shrugging iterations??
Are you stopping Galaxy pack sales, because plex and all other pack related items are getting ridiculously expensive, for the poors who spend time plexing their accounts, especially newbies, this is gonna turn them off from the game if it continues at this rate.
Since the rest of NorBdelta’s post was about salvaging, I’m guessing he meant to type “Salvage Drone IIs” instead of “Mining Drone IIs”.
Any near (or far) future plans to overhaul mining, given that the current process requires little to no input, and pretty much encourages AFKing, botting and multiboxing?
I was very encouraged to note that Hellmar mentioned having a iPhone/Mobile Platform in the works, as that opens the door to millions of new players. So my question is when does he anticipate having that ready?
I will be flying to Norway at the begining of May. Could CCP Hellmar please ensure Eyjafjallajökull does not interupt the flight.
I’d be remiss in my duties if I didn’t further suggest two things:
One is that since Stereo 3D was mentioned, I’d be delighted to toss my US Patent 9291829 into the mix with the Koreans, so everybody could see EVE in full 3D! And the other is that I’d love to have a discussion regarding how astrilis.org could work with CCP to promote our common interests.
1). Only one (1) CSM member allowed per Coalition PLEASE.
2). If I could do away missions (ambulation on planets, stations whatever) I would love you forever. To continue a space battle in a station would be incredible. Boarding a Titan would be even more incredible. Make it so.
If you have any sort of influence, try to encourage your fellow constituents to vote. Like, I don’t think CCP designed the CSM to be filled with pilots representing the interests of nullsec, it’s just that they have a lot players, and they get out the vote.
Past that, I suppose CSM seats could be apportioned according to population within a space. I mean, the interests of players from various areas of space aren’t homogeneous, but it would help ensure that less populated areas get a dedicated representative or two.
Besides the recent changes to wardec mechanics, what else is being done to improve new player retention? Like, will anything be done to tweak the various game systems that funnel new players into the most extracted profession?
Angel cartel Capital ships any soon?
Changes to local anytime soon or ever?!
For example:
High sec - local
Low sec / WH - delayed
0.0 - No local
D-Scan, Probes, Player intel… it should take effort to know whos in your space; in your vicinity!
you’ll piss off the WH guys with that suggestion. They don’t want local.
I haven’t seen much more about it… There were 2 mobile games. 1 similar to what we have now on PC, and one totally different. Though neither one were cross play with us.
@Lord_Rolfski for this to have been a proper f2p game, it would have needed to start that way. It’s not a proper f2p game. its a Sub game with some f2p in it. The daily injectors are not expensive compared to full blown injectors
@NorBdelta_Aivoras Salvage Drone II’s would be pointless. You would have to give a considerable boost to the Noctis to make up for the crap that is salvage drone II. T1 Salvage Drones aren’t even worth compared to T1 Salvager.
What has happened to the vision shown in The Prophecy trailer? Has this now been abandoned and is there any chance of Valkyre being picked up again to mesh with EVE?
Also are we likely to see a new Sov mechanic in the near future? I get the reasons why Agis Sov was rolled out but it misses the key point of being fun, especially if the attacker does not turn up in force to contest it.
I believe that if a new, more fun Sov mechanic came out we would have a much less stale state of affairs in Nullsec - part of the reason why everything is relatively stale is that alliances just need to ‘bordem tank’ would-be attackers.
And another question!
Are there any plans to make Battleships more viable? Nowadays they feel like the slowest class of ship in the game as Capitals can just jump around more freely on top of frequently having equal aligns with the MWD pulse. One of the main reasons why the Macharial was so popular was its ability to get into the fight much faster, and now that Battlecruisers have had their base warp speed increased to 2.70 AU/s, Battleships feel terribly slow at 2.00 AU/s.
I know they’re supposed to feel like lumbering behemoths although when compared to the ship class above they feel almost immobile.
