When are we getting Walking in Stations? Last time a very small, but very vocal part of the community successfully trolled you into stopping WiS development. The megathread in its support should tell you what most of us actually think/want.
Will CCP ever allow the big capitol ships back in High-sec?
If it wasn’t such a drain on the server, maybe… But consensus says otherwise that it won’t come back.
Are there any plans to visit Faction Warfare for improvements? This part of the game mimics many other MMOS and could be a major way to improve the player base. Is this part of your plan to increase players?
Greetings from W-Space. Are there any plans or has anyone ever discussed at all any desire to create more mechanics for w-space? I know we weren’t supposed to live inside but a quality of life pass may be needed in here.
Hmmm… he’s the CEO so I guess this is a right question for him:
@CCP_Hellmar What do you think that is the largest challenge that EVE Online is facing in terms of player demography (how many people play and how long)?
So Hellmar, were you impressed with the results of the 10K fight and the OS performance?
If so, when do you see moving the TQ or Singularity to that system?
Are you ever going to do anything about freighter bumping in hisec. It produces stale gank farming where multi-boxing gankers can stack up ganks. There is no fun at all for the freighter pilot, and they can be bumped for hours.
@CCP_Hellmar What is CCP’s current future vision for EVE? As someone that has been around since 2005, I find the game feels like it is stagnating. There was a tease about a year ago or so where an idea was flung out there that the empires and pirate factions might directly recruit capsuleers, what far fetched plans are you all working on bringing to life? What is there to be excited about in terms of the game outside of fixing small stuff constantly and a lack of real updates for people that have been around since near the start. I’m getting tired of this triglavian ■■■■■■■■.
1 - what are the plans if any with EVE: AETHER WARS?
2 - what do you thinnk to a world of tank/warship style game using the IP of eve?
3 - Years ago you talked about a TV serie(s) what happend to this?
4 - why are there no ship models that we can buy from CCP why haven’t you taken advantage of this market?
5 - where do you see eve in 5 and 10 years?
6 - do you think that skill injectors have ruined the game and if so what are your plans to balance the game out?
7 - why did you make dust514 a playstation only game knowing your clients are pc based?
possibility of opening up a new genre of players. since Dust514 was F2P, and they do make a lot of FPS games for playstation, it was only fitting they try to mix the two platforms. It was a unique idea.
Are you planning to add new space areas with the release of new Triglavian content that doesn’t have a time limit?
One fundamental reason older players don’t see much (desperately needed) work on older game systems (please overhaul the mission system)
New players looking at any existing MMO wonder why they should start: “EVE is an established game, I’ll never be able to compete, they are all richer than me and have more SP.” More effort is put into new content because new players have just as good of a chance to be the first to experience it, obtain new loot, and write about it - as older ones.
Every business leader makes choices that don’t turn out as expected.
What single business decision that you’ve made for CCP would you take back if you could, and how would you have done it differently knowing what you know now? (Challenge: please pick something other than the response to the monocle protests… too long ago )
Thanks!
Can you share any information on new account retention rates
Or causes for people to quit eve after an in-game experience ?
I would like to point out Diamond NPC’s as an example - this really should be a icon like the incursion icons, with a mouse over box / warning, not looking at the agency every few jumps.
Most players would like to support genuine new players, and knowing the shortcomings can help us support CCP in keeping a new player / account active.
What is happening to make EVE more disability friendly.
How will the EVE IP evolve ?
- Eve v2 ? (not just a x64 client, but a major re-work to deal with technical debt and improve our universe)
- Serenity vs tranquillity etc
CCP / EVE Store:
Please can we have a realistic EU CCP approved supplier for EVE IP items - like hoodies, glasses and mugs. Europe is a good market place, but we are NOT mugs for paying US postage charges.
Can we get an update on Project Discovery, and the future of this type of mini-game.
Exactly
Could we get a tab on the login screen that says “Your input is important” (or something like that) that leads the player to page that explains the forums and support? So when they rage quit, they see that and say to themselves, “I’ll give you feedback, grr.” Or just have an idea/question. A page just long and engaging enough to calm someone down while at the same time, holding the not pissed off players by the hand to help them give responsible feedback.
Is the idea of removing asset recovery from nullsec off the table?
I think this small change can profoundly change the state of eve for the better. Right now, Nullsec is littered with low power citadels because there’s no incentive at all to blow them up.
Removing asset recovery will make Nullsec the lawless space it’s supposed to be.
Losses will actually mean more. They’ll be more risk and more reward.
More content will be produced.
Eve is supposed to be a game where you lose things permanently. Asset recovery is fine in highsec and lowsec, but it should honestly be removed from nullsec.
This small change will make Eve a better game overall! Please remove asset recovery from nullsec!
Best Regards,
Papapants.
Couple questions on PVE,
Is CCP at some stage in the future going to revisit PVE missions to add new ones to tie in with some of the NPC changes over the years?, and also update the graphic environments of the old ones with models and textures if you do?.
Could updated graphics/artwork be added to existing environments as well like some of the relic/data/ded sites and ore/gas fields?, for example warp to a site and see something like a cross between trig/blood sites, or ore/gas fields with lightning, debris and other structural artifacts.
Cheers
Questions about Alpha and CSM:
Will this game ever evolve into a proper F2P game?
Meaning the full core game and its progression available for everybody to enjoy and only nice-to-have features behind paywalls, like you see in other successful F2P games? Alpha players like me (I don’t mind paying for Eve but I simply hate subscription models and PLEXing your account just sucks the enjoyment out of this game), feeling frustration-level handicapped and just second-rate players that are basically playing a glorified trial, is not something I would call consumer-friendly. Especially in a game where content evolves around players.
What’s the reason behind the soft-limit to 5 million SP for Alpha’s?
It really doesn’t make sense for them to be forced to buy additional expensive skill injectors to progress up to 20 million SP (hard limit), as that ISK is simply better used to PLEX your account.
When will we see a CSM that does a better job of representing the player base?
The whole block voting system is just intensely corrupt (with the current CSM being the absolute low point in its history) and makes it very hard for the average EVE player to take the CSM any seriously. Let alone expect them to address their personal issues with game.
Honestly, CCP killing the whole player voting and instead have players apply and then select them for CSM based on various profiles (nullblock, WH, Alpha, high sec PVE, etc) would go a long way to improve player trust in the CSM.
