Jump gates have a lot lag. Moving stuff aorund in the hangers and trying to build/invent is serious lag. Well at least I got to play longer today then yesterday. I have corp mates that can not even log in. This sucks and I hope CCP can find out who is doing these.

I couldn’t do Skilling Spree yesterday because the game was too unstable. I was starting to do it today but had issues immediately. A lot of my crew say the same thing about their inability to do Skilling Spree.

In my opinion, CCP should discontinue the current skilling spree, give SP to those who did not complete skilling spree up to now to level the playing field, and reinstate skilling spree when the DDoS is over and has been over for a while (eg. a week after a week’s calm from DDoS) - otherwise a large, disproportionate chunk of the community will not have been able to participate solely on the basis of DDoS.

talked to our security and network guys, they say there are effective tools ( f.e. Akamai, Cloudflare ) on the market that should protect an internet service from DDOS attacks.
So i wonder if CCP spent money on appropriate protection, or saved and now we having this shitstorm.

Not saying this just to inflame or anything but I think if you are having this many issues, over such a sustained period of time, you should look to other reasons and not just be blaming it on what you hope will get you something for free if enough of you shout loud enough. It won’t.

Know why? Loads of us are playing fine with more than one client open at once.

I find this a god Idea, as to many are loosing out on the game do to the DDoS

100% agree. This DDoS attack is creating an environment where some will benefit, and most will not from a free thing.

Was able to log in this morning, then cannot in the afternoon.
CCP should consider postpone the skilling spree until DDoS stops. Event is not making sense when a lot of players can’t get involved due to technical problems.

regardless of whose fault this whole DDoS event is, this would be the right way for CCP to handle the situation.
