if I connect my vpn to the USA I again cannot login to eve but if I connect it to Canada I can log in
unfortunately, if players cannot use eve, they will discontinue their subscriptions. so, if CCP has no way to get the problem resolved, even if it is the fault of a third party service, they may lose thousands of omegas.

i get this message when trying to log in :
Could not connect to the specified address. Odds are that you have not established an internet connection, the server isnāt running, or the server address or port number was wrong.
content creator from the UK unable to log in and play, guess that also means no streaming to if i cannot connect to Tranquility , any chance of a update @CCP_Dopamine on what is causing the problem .
and i dont wanna be paying for a VPN just to play one game out of the many i have, this problem is only with eve online and i am from the UK not USA .

ccp must host files or services needed for eve online on amazon servers. if I cannot connect I do a trace route and it always fails at an amazon server

That certainly makes sense, but at least for most MMOs, the totality of the USA customer base constitutes enough money to justify ccp making a telephone call to the affiliate, who presumably is working for ccp.
That said, I feel sure that has happened, and so the actual answer is different than what several understandably think. There is more to it than that.
Yeah this seems to be an issue with regions. I am from the UK and the game was fine for me yesterday while US players were having issues. Today, I cannot even login while others are having no issues
Yup. It would be like me owning say, a a florist company and telling you as a customer that you have to take the loss because my supplier was not able to provide the product
I get that i think we all do, however when you miss a wedding while every other flower shop delivers to everyone on the same day from the same suppliers things get a bit funky.
Ive logged into all games steam, hit all my normal web site hangouts, netflix everything and everything is just fine.
The only thing not working is eve, so its not my ISP or any of the services i normally encounter
Aaaaand CCP launching a patch for the launcher andā¦ I still cant log in. doh! I thought that was going to be a magical mini patchy patch for fix it all!

Hello CCP. I posted a Ticket this morning moaning i could not connect.
It is now several hours later and i am still not in any closer to being able to log on.
I just wanted to keep you on the case as the issue is not yet resolved despite your tunining things on and off!
Please fix it soon?

it fixed it for me so far
If I use a VPN I can connect. Turn the VPN off and i disconnect. I cannot reconnect unless I use VPN.
I am based in the UK if this helps CCP!!!
PS the VPN is free and has a bandwidth limit so using a VPN is not the solution.
This thread has a lot of elite forum PvPers. I can only imagine how empty your life is if you have to troll people with 100 posts about how whiny they are for being upset the game is broken.
Have no idea if this helps but when i traceRT everything seems fine till it suddenly goes to america [EDIT:and stops] for siteprotect.security.neustar (68.142.82.35).
This seems weird since im in the UK and so are the CCP serversā¦

if i use the eve diagnostics trace it gets stuck at 99.82.181.52 [AMAZO-4 -Amazon.com, Inc.] also USA.
Why am i being directed through the bloody states - NOT saying this is a CCP issue BTW
