It is and has been difficult to play the game. It has been long enough imo for that to have been taken care of. Attacking people who regularly pay (on multiple accounts?) for daring to mention while definitely typical eve online forums, which is apparently sanctioned, is not good for the game. They are, after all, choosing a way other than sending in a ticket, which ccp requested.
So if you send in a ticket and avoid getting forum bashed, you make ccp unhappy. Seems message is that if you have a legitimate issue with the game performance, however rare you might post or send a ticket in, it is at personal cost to you.

I trust CCP are doing all they can to resolve this issue and I am happy to be patient. The only problem I have is the lack of updates from CCP. All theyâd have to do is put a post on their Facebook page advising players that this is an ongoing problem. As things stand at the moment, I have no idea whatâs going on as the client has 19k players online yet I cannot login at all. I hope they intend on reimbursing the Omega time lost as I am paying for a product that doesnât work. Thatâs now three days lost with no end in sight.

That was resolved though. If you scroll up there are a couple of posts that people seem to be overlooking. They detail how it is the American âaffiliateâ that has the role of âfirst-line defenceâ against these attacks for EVE covering the US is at fault. Think of it like getting an illness and your bodyâs immune system kicks in to fight off the attack. Unfortunately, there are occasions when your immune system doesnât notice the illness is gone and keeps on fighting - that is what this is.
The current issues you guys are having is the American âimmune systemâ still producing antibodies to fight an attack no longer happening and it is clogging everything up.
Day 4 of unable to play the game because of login or lag issuesâŚSubmitted a ticket, was told theyâre working on it and to check the eve news page for updates on any compensation.
It is not their job to fix a problem that is not happening.
Microsoft are not going to post updates about how Apple are doing things because it is nothing to do with them, so why do you feel it is different here?
after 3 days of not being able to connect I installed a vpn and connected via the uk and now I can log in with no lag.
it seems my issue was connecting through amazon servers in Singapore. the trace route would be stuck at that point.
its not a problem with the eve server its a problem with how you connect.
if I use a vpn connected to the uk I can log in with no lag. (I live in Indonesia)
