Oh, it sure will not be the last time, this I know. CCP has made some bold and bad decisions throughout its history. The game is still the most unique experience I have ever had in so many ways. This product will not die due to this; they had worse issues in the past and will most likely have some future bad decisions. Humanity, you know… You want perfect, good luck. Nowhere have I found a bug-free experience in software development. Excuses, no, but saying the game is not playable is what I disagree on. Do I want Graedon on the monument? No. He was not on it initially, and I am not subbing him to go on it now. But the game is worthless and totally against everything I believe, feel, and dedicate years to. Will I leave the game again? Maybe. Will I come back? Yes. Will I ever fly with Graedon again? Prob. Just overall, there is much more to this game than the in-game chat system. There is so much beauty, exciting things, and so much!

Lol, no, no, Not CCP. And I used Grammarly to make the words understood. I’ll agree. Many decisions just totally sucked. This is why there were many protests in-game throughout the years. Some famous ones even. Ever wonder why NPC stations can’t be destroyed? A protest by their players for a crappy decision. Should they be working on this at this second? Yes, totally. Their crap is not what I defend. The playability of the game I do. It is stupid to say “cancel my sub” because of a buggy chat. “Bullhonkey hiked prices,” I totally agree. “Bullhonkey, they are not doing anything over the weekend” I am 100% with you. “Can’t play the game,” I disagree. (I don’t like censored words, so it is Bullhonkey instead of the word I want to use.) Oh, and @CCP_Paragon : Please, please tell us what happened when you get back here and make an update! Be technical, be honest, and be straightforward. People appreciate that.

Why should I settle for a percentage of the game when I paid for 100% of the game? If I lived the isolationist life of a WHer already or just spun stations and derped around highsec all day Im sure Id have no issue with this. Fact is, I dont, and Im not a fan of either playstyle. Sure, I could take a bunch of extra measures to safeguard but why should I have to? Because a bunch of folks decided to neglect their jobs and go home for the weekend like they work at some factory doing shift work? Guess Im foolish to believe you stay until the service is restored, silly me. Cant imagine why EVE is dying. Its pretty clear the money matters, players do not. Thats what their actions illustrate.
So CCP make a system that becomes integral to player interaction and experience. It breaks down and disrupts the ability of a large percentage of players to engage and play the game effectively. People are subbing and paying to access a game that no longer works as it did a week ago. What kind of compensation will players receive for being forced to stay away?
HA, EVE was dying from day one. Them not communicating with us over the weekend, I am totally agreeing with you. We should have daily updates on the progress of what is going on with the system. Again, be direct, be honest, and be technical. Even if it goes over the heads of some individuals, do it. There are people here who can understand what is being stated and can put it in layman’s terms. Will we still have crying players? Oh, for sure, we will. What is EVE without tears? I’ve lived the null life; I’ve lived the carebear life (heck, look at Graedon’s history, Provi boy at one point). I’ve delved into wormholes, abyss, poch, etc. Heck, my primary goal is industry! But I recognize that to fight a war, you must attack the industry, so the industry in a harsh universe needs to have those PvP skills as well. So yes, you might not like it, but it is part of the game. Again, look at Provi! I still don’t like the old PanFam that kicked them out while I lived there, but I did play a toon for a couple of months that tapped into their member corps. Good people there as well. There are good and bad everywhere. CCP is the same, good and bad. Good at keeping this beast operating for 20 freaking years, bad for going home this weekend (or just their PR is home this weekend; there may be a few tech heads working like mad trying to figure out what is going on even as we speak, it is only 4:30 pm their time on Sunday, there maybe someone working on the issue.)

I went through a system with a bunch of reds in local and now their ghosts are with me in every system. I’m starting to think I should turn them blue just to make myself feel better. They all seem so quiet and peaceful. I’m starting to love them and there are even two (duplicates) of some of them. 10/10 would chat again. SHUT UP AND TAKE MY MONEY!

Well, Since i started playing in September i havent seen this kind of chaos/incompetence, You would think that paying 20EU a month(By far the most expensive MMO) would make resolving these issues a number one priority, After 4 to 5 days of having these issues i do not think that fixing this annoying bug is the number one priority.
If they do manage to fix it please leave Jita local broken, It is much more peacefull! xD
