30-31/01/2020 - Connectivity Issues

For me, knowing it is not my ISP but a WHOLE bunch of other peeps having similar issues makes me feel sorta better.

I can take solace in the fact that I was able to get in earlier, found a HS WH and got some BPO’s I wanted, oh yea!!!

Sigh, but they DO need to be researched which is kind of hard when I can’t get ingame to get it started, lol

Also worth noting for all of omegas
The app has been working completely fine this whole time for me. Omegas can at least queue up skills and points are still being collected so there is 1 positive thing

As I type this my account logs in. Yay!

Noob here but if I learned my EVE history right I’m starting to think Goonswarm.

"We don't ruin the game, just your game"

Well done Goonswarm, well done…

I’m able to log in but it’s very laggy. I’m not going to fly around while the servers are like this. At least I can do PI.

Yeah dock up mate. If you want to do something then do a bit of trading if you’re close to a trade hub.

Folks need to chill out! It’s been explained it’s DDOS, that’s not ccp, that is someone, somewhere, attacking the game we all love to hate and hate to love.
I trust that ccp will be doing what they can and I’d imagine they have heard the crying for compo.
Your lost ships will be replaced once the main problem has been solved and I wouldn’t be surprised if there was a little compo.
But just chill or find something else to pass the time!

my vote we lock who ever is ddos attacking the server in a room and play dj grom from eve radio singing in it

Yes, same issue here. All is not working in the world of Eve. I’m guessing the universe collapsed.

Four days, enough is enough.

Fix it or supply an IP so we can fix THEM

Completely agree although imo, CCP should add the lost Omega time onto our accounts. As a new player myself, this makes me wary about buying more than a months Omega subscription going into the the future.

Haven’t been able to log for 3 days, I don’t care about Omega time lost, more so the fact I’m gonna have to restart some very fuel startup hungry stations because I can’t get on to fuel them :pensive:

As long as my stations have more than a week’s supply of fuel blocks and my production projects are running, I’m okay. Still, 2 DDoS attacks in less than two weeks… sigh and I came back from a year-and-a-half break.

I am getting this same screen with checking status at bottom

I am hoping CCP will at least explain what happened with this issue, if it was DDOS related, or if it was hardware related, or ISP related.

worst i have ever seen it. look at the player count bottom right.

this is annoying. I understand this must be very annoying to the staff working on solutions. thanks for the hard work that goes on behind the scenes… while you guys are working on this can you lower jump fatigue and increase bridge range like the good ol days for a month

CCP are definitely doing something as my login message has changed from the one above to…

“Network communication between your computer and the EVE Online server has been interrupted.
This may be caused by local internet connectivity issues, by a server reboot, or by a temporary network disruption between your location and the EVE Online data center.”

I’ve seen that one also on and off all day.

I can now log onto the game and there doesn’t seem to be allot of lag. It’s early days as of yet ofc. I am gonna take it easy and just run a few relic/data sites with an non implant clone I think. This is definitely a good sign as i have not been able to log on all day here in the UK

I keep getting Network communication between your computer and the EVE Online server has been interrupted. This may be caused by local internet connectivity issues, by a server reboot, or by a temporary network disruption between your location and the EVE Online data center.
