Probably I have more connection issues than you, and additionally I paid like many others, maybe like you, not sure if you plexed your account or not. We’re clients, and we have our right about, we don’t live at North Korea, at least not me. And this’s not a technical post, is an informational one. All info related is valid.

People need to understand that ddos attacks are not simple things to defend against. The attack vectors are “distributed” as it states in the name. We’re all frustrated at not being able to go pew pew but I’d personally rather direct my ire at the boneheads doing the attack. CCP want you playing their game, the boneheads are the ones who are actively stopping it from happening.

just connected to client and managed to login when tethered to my iphone using my mobile carrier data which is actually the same provider of my home broadband, issue must be with my isp and ccp and the third parties, perhaps could be with the recent ddos protection as seems my isp is being blocked
Different symptoms this time, everything looked good until I engaged a couple low rent belt rats and that’s when my Magnate pretty well went dead, couldn’t shoot, couldn’t run and as my Magnate exploded I was disconnected. And no, I’ll not submit a ticket. Magnates are cheap and I should’ve known better. And yeah, it was pretty cool to watch my Magnate blow whilst my connected failed. I came back with a Bestower, loot/salvaged the wreck, stopped off at a market base and bought the rest of the fit but not going to do anything with it until either CCP declares bankruptcy or they bite the bullet, off load all the candy, spend the money and resources to implement a bullet proof defense against these things so we can all get back to being the asinine characters we all yearn to be.
Today i will be using a Free VPN connecting to “London-Custard” the response time is three times longer than normal but i will see if at least the connection is stable enough.

During this 3 days i only got 2\3 dcs at random meanwhile playing but were all good. Today i can’t log like you blocked my ip\region\traffic node… pls investigate further @CCP_Dopamine
Investigate further on Amazon nodes, seems you did something with them as others player that can’t log today have that nodes in common with me…

Can you say wether these issues are inside CCP’s sphere of control (ie is there an issue with TQ) or is this a symptom of a wider internet issue (DDOS / DNS failure etc etc) ?
Actually, to be more precise, this thread should be for people who either want an update on the situation coming from CCP, or for players disposing of valuables informations that might be useful to CCP so they can solve the problem faster.
This is by no mean the thread for your entitled whining, no matter how hard you try to justify it.

So, why is it only a select few that cannot log on? 24.5k others logged on except me and others, why so?
Was able to get in, game seemed fine for 5 mins, then lag, booted out and now can’t log back in…

You see, entitlement is a problem when people expect things just because they are who they are. But when you PAY for a product you are ACTUALLY ENTITLED for it to ACTUALLY WORK.
The difference between you and CCP is that they aren’t stupid and understand that. I am not demanding anything other than a fix. I am not threatening anything other than to stop paying for a product that doesn’t work.
Not sure how that logic is beyond you, but apparently it is. That is definitely a YOU problem.
