For me it is more or less ok. Local is lagging somehow. But I’m able to play.

This is unacceptable for a game with as much pedigree and funding such as EvE. literally just sold a 35,000 usd ship you can’t tell me they don’t have the resources. The past 3 days I’ve had nothing but problems during playing. random DC’s then denial of re-logging. Today I’ve been trying for the past hour to just log in and do the skilling spree. If this is a DDoS CCP should be ashamed there is much smaller younger games with much more toxic communities that are bigger targets for DDoS attacks that do better than EvE when it comes to the protection. I’ll give them a day or 2 from here if nothing changes ill quit this game for good. it’s not worth the stress. I can’t even get in to make my isk for omega coming. You will get no praise from me if you ever do get it sorted cause it was your job to keep it from happening in the first place.

Its technically quite complex, though from a product perspective, purchasing home insurance doesn’t make your house any less likely to burn down.
i mean…if you make enough isk for omega…if you happen to miss a day or two of omega is it really the end of the world?
Its frustrating to this day the number of organisations that block ICMP request/replies because some moron thinks its good security because back in the day windows nt used to BSOD if an ICMP request hit it that was oversize.
There’s a problem with the fiber optic between Australia and the UK, its too damn long and our ping sucks, doubt that’s something fixable though.

CCP, your launcher is broken.
If I try to connect through launcher, I get Cannot connect to server every time.
But after that if I press manually on Connect button in open client, I can connect normally…every time!

It’s actually got worse since the message about chat having been fixed FYI. Says that it can’t connect at live.chat.eveonline.com:5222, which I see other people are having issues connecting on as well.
shrug my chat hasn’t worked since downtime ended regardless of the post about it working lol
do hope they fix this mess soon since if people have to put up with this till monday a min there will be a whole lot of very pissed of people

Same except the secondary attempt only sometimes works for me . Then once in game, chat is FUBAR saying it can’t connect at live.chat.eveonline.com:5222. This applies to local, alliance. corp s well as other channels.
Hard to believe that it is actually getting worse as time goes by. At least the last few days I could sometimes connect. Sure it was super laggy and prone to disconnect, but I could at least get in.
Now all I get is:
“Connection Timeout - The server did not initiate the compatibility-handshake within a reasonable amount of time”
I am not sure what CCP did to mess things up so bad in response to the DDoS, but they have. At this point, email me when it is 100% fixed. I am not wasting anymore time with this.
i can get into game But chat is broken have not seen it this screwed up since they did the change over of the chat systems
yeah i can deal with chat being broken but this lag cant realy do anything about to try the vpn thing and i really dont want to do that.
i for one have not done any thing to mess with ports in win10 it too much of pain to even think of this is all on ccp’s end and no where else since chat Was working fine last night before the maint happened

We used to call the local pizza place in Iceland and had it delivered to them as an incentive. But now in England no idea were the servers are, lol

I am aware of 10+ accounts that are having same issue from different locations in Australia. Actually every member of our community is having the same issue still in confirming with them.
