Yeah it sucks although the good news is that this is rare. I am from the UK and the game seems to be working fine for me no (chat works, no lag, no dc etc) so I think the issue will be solved across board by tomorrow. I think CCP will look after us once they have got the problems fixed for everyone.
In the meantime, if you want to play the game and are still having problems then use a VPN to route yourself through the UK exchange mate

3 goes this morning and iām in.
Takes me at least ten minutes just to get into the game and Iām lucky if I can even do anything once Iām in. Game DCās as soon as I get in a fight, as though on cue. At this point Iām moving on with my life, let me know when the game is playable.

If you get the annoying ācanāt connectā error message in the client loader itself then click escape, go to reset settings tab and clear all cache files. Then start the client again.
This works for me but I have to do it every time I want to log in.

VPN through Nigeria is working for me, though chat still broken
just be careful not to VPN through a server owned by one of those overly generous Nigerian Princes who wants to give money to folks who have a bank account in Western Europe or North America. I keep having to turn down $1mil about every other week.
If CCP makes this much money then they should use that money to fix their game no?
