The issue isn’t even the week-long inability to play the game, which sucks but is obviously not intentional on the part of CCP.
The issue is the complete unwillingness to communicate with the customer base as to what is actually going in. There should be multiple updates each day, explaining in detail where they are at and what the plan is moving forward.
The lack of communication is bizarrely unprofessional. If the leader of the community team thinks this is acceptable, can him for someone with better public relations.
Oh joy… I could login once this morning and did see only three people in system. When I warped to a moon ( in Hisec) there were miners not showing up in local. When I asked them to type something there name was added to local…
Now, a few hours later again “Connection Failed”… sigh
After 4 days of not being able to connect, I managed to spend 5 min in game… then the disconnect came. Still trying to reconnect but it appears it was only a tease.
edit: after 10 min got back in game, I see over 21 thousand online.
This is really messed up I got to login via manual connect then the chat didn’t work and then I went shopping bought stuff fine but then when I tried to sell it won’t allow me to. Just a cheap af price which costs me hundreds of millions of isk . not funny at all ccp really need this ■■■■ fixed up can’t sell ■■■■ man. my incomes gone now
well i logged in after getting the error and telling it to connect a second time in the blue screen page…however no local or chat channels of any kind Including Fleet chat.
after all this time and you can not fix this or protect your chat server[which eve should not have done sticking the game comms out there like that to be targeted with a hammer
