30-31/01/2020 - Connectivity Issues

Network communication between your computer and the EVE Online server has been interrupted.
This may be caused by local internet connectivity issues, by a server reboot, or by a temporary network disruption between your location and the EVE Online data center.

^^ The above message is all I get when I attempt to login to my account through the EVE Online Launcher. I have many accounts and the same message appears. In the previous weeks I was having no issues with logging into play EVE but since yesterday, it has been nothing but the above message blocking me out.

Not going to bother. I am sorry you were confused. I did not mean to do so.

When you get the Dialog Box " Network communication between your computer and the EVE Online server has been interrupted.
This may be caused by local internet connectivity issues, by a server reboot, or by a temporary network disruption between your location and the EVE Online data center."

…close it and click settings in that same window and in there is a " Clear Cache ".

Clear the cache and shut client down, restart and you should connect after a few attempts.

Also —> Server is down now for daily rr

Wow. You ridiculously entitled prick. Take your money wherever you want as your money will clearly make such a huge difference to what happens…

Thank you, Clapet. I will try that next time I log in, but at the same time I feel clearing the cache is like saying put a band aid on a severed limb.

EVE is truly dead. They had five days now and NO update. Zilch nada nein. I don’t believe they are able to do a thing so they stay silent and hope it all goes away. Hey CCP, I went ahead and canceled five accounts. Why bother. Your not telling your customer diddly. That’s five accounts you no longer profit from and I imagine that I am not the only one.

True enough but it allowed me to get 70 min of game time in after 4 days of not being able to connect.

Do you want to know who’s really upset right now? Pearl Abyss. They paid $425 million for CCP.

And NO, you cannot have my stuff. When they run out they run out. CCP should have kept the communication going. But they did not. That is why I decided to let them go. If they would have spoken up before now I would have stuck around. But they did not. Bad communication losses your customer base.

Maybe the Pearl Abyss squad is having a hell of a time with the old code?

There have been problem before now. Things break, but CCP usually had it fixed before now. I wonder if CCP washed their hands and walked away after the sale? Is anyone out there that knows a thing about all the old code? Is this why we cannot use a product that we paid for?

@ccp still seems to be an issue the APC region connecting to chat servers. If I VPN through a US server they work fine
edit: I am based in Australia

Grow up and read the announcements then. Also, contract your stuff to me thanks.

Chat is still broken for many inside the US.

Interesting… Using Express VPN and the first LA server it works lol

I can no longer get the client to even load. I get the CCP logo then nothing. I’ve even tried re-installing the client in a different folder, but still nothing.

Edit
Client is loading now, hopefully I can get into the game.

Edit Again
After re-installing the game client in a new folder, I am able to connect without issue for the first time in days.

I hope it helps someone

Update: I was in stable for 30 minutes, then disconnected and can’t reconnect again :frowning: at least I had some fun. Good luck everyone.

I can get in now, I click the play button thing on the launcher, get the failed connect error close that then click “connect” inside the loading screen. That grants me permission to access the game but the chat service is still blocked.

The biggest problem is how it seems that buying a vpn service is the way to get access to the whole deal. Why must a person, especially omega pilots have to pay twice? shouldnt the omega be enough? guess not lol

If you’re in Win 10, try a search for the Eve Launcher with your search tool and try to launch from there.

Just try clicking Connect button after closing that error message when in the launch screen.

It’s taking multiple attempts to get logged on, first one tends to fail
