Ahhhhh, just like the old days. A patch gone bad… Lucky for me I took down all my crap before I couldn’t refuel it and have long term skill training in place.

Ah well, just downloaded and started Black Desert Online. I cannot get my Eve fix, so it is what it is. I will check in later. How long this will go on? Who knows.

I know it’s a bored game, but it’s a lot of fun when you can reach across the table and choke your opponent to death in rl! (jk) You don’t need to log in! You don’t need power so the game can be played by candle light! Etc…

Some US players in our community are reporting log in success if they VPN to a UK host (like Express VPN first)
After seeing others and CCP suggest a VPN I download and installed ExpressVPN and connected to England. I am able to play the game without many issues. Every once and a while chat disconnects and reconnects after a few seconds. I am on the East Coast of USA and could not really play before. This is a band-aid and hopefully something that I need to continue for long.

This is probably the best solution for us at this moment in time. But I am hoping we can get this problem fixed quickly.
Got on ti handle some timers about to expire on me, for contracts and yeah. Completely unplayable. No mercy from timers tho 
i see your Titan and Raise with my original almost 600 page captain’s edition doomsday rulebook… the original was this pamplet game like 2 or 3 dosen pages at most somone showed me like 79 or 80 sometime.

I “had” everything. A hurricane took out half of my rulebooks. We made a 4x8 laminated table to play on. Sorry kids who want to know what we did before skill injectors, but that was all we had. I’ll take a Argonian ship any day!
East Coast US here and finally able to log in after days. I was able to do the skilling spree on my 3 accounts without any issues. I don’t dare try anything risky yet but it is looking good.

I can can logon no problem - just cleared the cache - and because my main toon plays in wormhole space most of the time, having no chat is not a problem - we don’t talk to the peeps who come in & we use discord between ourselves.
However I do have a toon in hi-sec that looks for characters that go suspect to try to catch them - but - without local I don’t know they are suspect, so can’t start looking for them.
Still no chat

We have a few that still have no chat, but 75% of us have no issues, those outside of the US have been able to login with no chat till today, when chat came back. A few had a couple of hours of inconsistent connection on the first day of the attack.
I am from the UK and my chat is on and off. It’s currently down. I’s not really an issue for me as I play thew wh game anyway

Well, the issue is that I cannot comms with the corp ofc but they’re taking time off at the moment
Went ahead and unsubbed my 3 omega accounts. So far from what I have gathered through reading the forums is that DDOS attacks cannot be easily stopped and CCP must essentially rely on the goodwill of the attacker to stop and even if they do stop they can resume the attacks again on a whim. I will come back when there are concrete measures to not only stop this attack but prevent future ones.
yup smart take money away from ccp so it is harder for them to fight this… good job

imo, there’s more to this than a DDOS attack. It looks more like an update gone wrong.

with all the failure messages indacating that its a port issue i guess DDOS is at least the main prob and to unsubcribe in such times is the wrong way
