[7SDW / W7SKY] Scotch & Tea is Recruiting

Quiet systems. Useful trouble. Better company.

Scotch & Tea is a small, selective EVE organization for pilots who like working from the edges of the map, making their own content, and turning quiet nights into something meaningful.

We have a storied past as a Black Ops outfit: dropping on known bait, avoiding blues except where business requires it, and flying absurd officer-fit Widows like this one and this one — no lectures, please. We know.

These days, the work still happens in backwater systems and quiet corners of New Eden. Some nights are gas operations. Some nights are cloaky hunting. Some nights are strange doctrine tests, drag bubbles, logistics work, booster supply, or half-serious projects that probably should not work and occasionally do anyway.

Our recruitment efforts look for self-starters: scouts, hunters, haulers, scanners, builders, doctrine nerds, industrial minds, explorers, and other useful problems with a pulse. Our next phase leans harder into industry as we move deeper into booster manufacturing. Come help us make and sell “whisky” to New Eden.

What usually fits here

  • Independent initiative
  • Patience during quiet nights
  • Good comms and local manners
  • Interest in learning and adapting
  • Enough income to fund your own trouble
  • A sense of humor when EVE behaves like EVE

No HR department. No ESI gauntlet. We do a short ten-question interview with no wrong answers, and we encourage questions back. This is anti-bloc by design: personal, conversational, and more interested in the pilot than the résumé.

Spies should read the spy section in the packet. We look forward to your stay.

  • 2 oz bourbon
  • 3/4 oz fresh lemon juice
  • 1/2–3/4 oz simple syrup
  • optional 1 egg white
  • cherry and/or lemon wheel.

Dry-shake (no ice) if using egg white with lemon, syrup, and whisky; then add ice and shake again. Strain into rocks glass over ice or serve up. Garnish.

  • (3/4 oz) fresh lemon juice
  • (3/4 oz) honey–ginger syrup (see below)
  • (1/2 oz) single malt Scotch (for float)
  • Ice
  • Candied ginger or a thin ginger slice for garnish

Honey–ginger syrup:

  • (1/4 cup) honey
  • (1/4 cup) water
  • 1 small piece fresh ginger, sliced and bruised

Combine honey, water, and ginger in a small saucepan; simmer 5 minutes, cool, strain.

Warm, slightly herbal and honeyed, with subtle spice — great if you want Scotch in a stirred, spirit-forward format.
