SEA & SCOTCH HOT CHOCOLATE

  • 1.5 oz Bowmore 15 The Darkest
  • 3 oz Prepared Jacques Torres Wicked Hot Chocolate
  • 3 oz Frothed Milk or Cream

Build in a mug starting with Bowmore, adding the chocolate. Stir and mix thoroughly, and froth milk using a Nespresso Aeroccino+. Top chocolate and scotch with frothed milk.

GLASGOW MULE

  • 2 ounce blended Scotch whisky
  • 3/4 ounce freshly squeezed lime juice
  • ½ ounce elderflower liqueur
  • 1 dash Angostura bitters
  • 4 ounce ginger beer

Fill a copper mug or Collins glass with medium ice cubes. Add Scotch, lime juice, elderflower liqueur and bitters. Top with ginger beer; stir gently with a long handled bar spoon to mix.

THE BROOKLYN

  • 2 oz Rye Whiskey
  • 1 oz Dry Vermouth
  • 1/4 oz Maraschino Liqueur
  • 1/4 oz Amer Picon
  • Maraschino Cherry - for garnish

Add the rye whiskey, dry vermouth, maraschino liqueur and Amer Picon into a mixing glass with ice and stir until well-chilled. Strain into a chilled coupe glass. Garnish with a skewered maraschino cherry.

BOULEVARDIER

  • 1 1/2 oz 100-proof Bourbon
  • 3/4 oz Italian Vermouth
  • 3/4 oz Campari
  • Orange twist or banana leaf for garnish

Add all ingredients to a stirring glass. Add ice and stir for about 30 seconds. Strain into a double Old Fashioned glass over a large cube. Garnish with orange twist or banana leaf on inside rim.

NEAR EASTERN JULEP

  • 2 oz Old Grand-Dad Bottled-in-Bond bourbon
  • ½ oz Becherovka liqueur
  • ½ oz ginger syrup (see note)
  • Basil leaves, plus 1 leaf for garnish

Rub basil leaves along the inside of a double Old Fashioned glass, then add the bourbon, liqueur, and syrup. Fill the glass with crushed ice and swizzle for 5 seconds. Garnish with a slapped basil leaf.

Note: To make ginger syrup, steep peeled ginger in a ratio of 1-to-1 water to sugar.

SMOKED SAZERAC

  • 2 oz rye whisky
  • ½ oz absinthe (for rinsing)
  • 2 dashes Peychaud’s bitters
  • Lemon twist for garnish
  • Applewood or hickory smoke (optional, for smoking the glass)
  • Smoked sea salt (optional, for rimming)

Rinse a rocks glass with absinthe and discard the excess. Smoke the glass with applewood or hickory if desired. Pour the rye whisky over ice, add the Peychaud’s bitters, and stir. Optionally rim the glass with smoked sea salt. Garnish with a lemon twist.

BOBBY BRU WHISKY SOUR

  • 1½ oz Scotch
  • ¾ oz Fresh Lemon Juice
  • ½ oz Simple Syrup
  • 3 oz Irn-Bru (or ginger ale as a substitute)
  • Ice
  • Optional: egg white for a silky texture (1 small egg white, or 0.5 oz pasteurized egg white)
  • Garnish: lemon wheel or twist

Add the whisky, lemon juice, and simple syrup to a cocktail shaker with ice. If using egg white, add it now and shake vigorously for about 10-15 seconds to create a foam. Strain into a rocks glass filled with fresh ice. Top with Irn-Bru (about 2-3 oz) to fill the glass. Stir gently to combine. Garnish with a lemon wheel or twist.

VIEUX CARRE

  • ¾ oz Rye whiskey
  • ¾ oz Cognac
  • ¾ oz Sweet vermouth
  • ¼ oz Bénédictine liqueur
  • 1 Peychaud’s bitters dashes
  • 1 Angostura bitters dash
  • Maraschino cherry or lemon twist for garnish

Combine the rye whiskey, cognac, sweet vermouth, Bénédictine, and bitters in a mixing glass filled with ice. Stir the mixture for about 30-45 seconds until it is well chilled. Strain the mixture into a rocks glass filled with fresh ice. Garnish the cocktail with a maraschino cherry or lemon twist.

PAPER PLANE

  • ¾ ounce Bourbon
  • ¾ ounce Aperol
  • ¾ ounce Amaro Nonino Quintessentia
  • ¾ ounce Lemon Juice - freshly squeezed

Add bourbon, Aperol, Amaro Nonino and lemon juice to an ice-filled cocktail shaker and shake until chilled. Strain into a cocktail coupe glass. No garnish.

MONKEY JAM SOUR

  • 2 ½ parts Monkey Shoulder Whisky
  • 1 Part Lemon Juice
  • 2 Tablespoon Jam or Marmalade
  • 1 Dash Orange Bitters
  • 1 Egg White or 2 Tablespoons Aquafaba

Add all ingredients to a shaker, add fresh ice and shake. Strain into an ice-filled glass.

WHISKY SMASH

  • 2 oz whisky (bourbon or rye)
  • ¾ oz fresh lemon juice
  • ½ oz simple syrup
  • 6-8 fresh mint leaves
  • Ice
  • Mint sprig (for garnish)

Muddle the mint gently in a cocktail shaker to release its oils—don’t crush it too hard, or it will become bitter. Add the whisky, lemon juice, and simple syrup to the shaker. Fill with ice and shake vigorously for about 10-15 seconds until well-chilled. Strain into a rocks glass filled with fresh ice. Garnish with a sprig of fresh mint.

WHISKEY HIGHBALL

  • 2 oz Whiskey
  • 4 oz Soda Water (or ginger ale or ginger beer)
  • Lemon Wedge
  • Ice

Fill a glass with ice. Pour in the whiskey and soda water and stir gently. Squeeze in the lemon wedge and serve.
