Do you know Australia as a nation didn’t even exist in 1900?
He didn’t quote a Federal Law from 1900 at all, since there was no such thing until a year later.
He quoted NSW law, which is also completely irrelevant. It has no relevance to this situation, even if the law could be applied to electronic transmission of threats.
so can you show me that there is no law against threatening bodily harm and perpetuating the threat by asking others for help to commit said crime? I mean I dont’ know much about science books, but i’m sure if I cut off someones hands in austrailia i’d land my ass in court followed by a stiff jail sentence.
There is no such thing. That still doesn’t change the fact that Australia did not exist in 1900.
We didn’t federate until 1901. Before then, each colony was it’s own separate entity (and the states still maintain their own rights even since federation).
I’m sure they are just as corrupt there as anywhere else. but apparently they have no laws about the safety of it’s citizens. they only worry about after a crime is commited, no forethought into preventing crime at all.
Also, one last time, I am not an authority in the law. That’s the point. None of us are and it’s all just circle jerking to be talking about legal matters. None of us are qualified to do so.
yeah, so that’s my opinion. and in fact if austrailia is like much of the civilized world, in which I’m pretty sure they are. there are in fact protections for it’s citizens from living in fear from another human being. the fact that I must have a legal degree and citations to prove this to you just shows your lack of empathy for the society you live in.
He should stay permabanned then. Everything else you say is redundant, reinstating him would obviously hurt EVE terribly next time he does something similar.
ah now i feel bad
ccp should ban the judge too
for baiting him
actually in my country if someone provokes you to attack them
and you attack them
then they are at fault
i think
We do have law degrees. You asked about a degree in Australian law. There isn’t such a thing.
There are law degrees and if you obtain a degree then you can register to practice law in Australia. But there is no such thing as a Degree in Australian Law.
