Not to mention almost permanently cementing them as Vet only ships as any new player now has to grind 10x as hard as those of us who got ours before the indy changes. It’s like Blizz nerfing raid epic droprates after a bunch of players got fully geared, it’s just shitting on the newbro.

Being real, at first glance I didn’t hate the cap part of the change. They should take a little more to build than they used to imo. Upon further reflection even that is quite a bit heavy handed. I own one cap, it has nearly quadrupled in value.
Everything about this was ass from the beginning and its still ass now. Thanks @CCP_Rattati.

This industry patch is the most damaging to the game i have seen. Worse than blackout, worse than the Walking in Stations failed rollout. In one patch CCP have crushed so many players playstyle and income in ONE HIT. Cumulative with the mining nerfs, and hamstrung by the WCS changes players are LEAVING. Many wont ever be back…
Well the figures speak for themselves…so sad to see a great game wrecked.

I think it’s great. Just fly the less expensive ships and make up for the lower power by flying better. 
You know whats amazing? When you try to tell people this and their retort is that 90% of the ship tree is “useless” or “irrelevent” or “garbage”.

Oh, are we doing the “no matter what, spin it in a negative way” schtick? A statistically flat line is also stable. While it’s a shame EVE isn’t growing, the fact that it has a stable playerbase - after 20 years - should not be overlooked. To do so wouldn’t just be dishonest, it would be antitruth.
