A Suggestion for the Marauder Change

After watching the stream yesterday I feel the need to create this topic. While I do agree with most of the changes to Marauders from PvP perspective I find the MJD CD change to be very sad for PvE. Because in my opinion one of the most fun things in Marauder PvE is jumping from group to group which will be significantly hampered by this change.
So here is my suggestion: Keep the change (the long cooldown) as is but change the bastion module so it resets MJD CD on completion. That way you don’t have the stupid mobility in PvP but still retain the fun in PvE.

Not sure how doable or feasable this is and if it doesn’t introduce its own set of problems, but had to get this idea out there. Hopefully this will at least be thought about or even discussed among the devs :slight_smile:

or make it skill based and the bastion mod might boost it..

10% per level of Micro Jump Drive Operation for a max cool down of 50% and bastion mod adds 20% bonus for a total of 70%.

Won’t do anything. Can’t MJD while bastion is up.

Whats the point? PvPers use the Marauders the same way: Be in Bastion and project insane damage onto the field and if the opponents try to outmaneuver it by pulling range, they end bastion and jump right after them. So your suggestion would basically re-create the problem that CCP tried to solve with the removal of the MJD bonus… Which is… Marauders being too mobile.

If someone can’t land scram on a target that has to lock itself in place for 60 second at a time and can’t even receive logi…that’s their own fault.
