Well if we break it down its not terrible: (Just needs some work)

Fun factor 7/10
AI 10/10
Accessibility 10/10 (was 2/10 but was fixed)
Usefulness of mod’s 9/10
Graphic’s and atmosphere 10/10
Rewarding 1/10 (isk generation vs isk loss)

In comparison:

Abyss t4 Isk generation 6/10, risk 8/10
Abyss t5 Isk generation 7/10, risk 12/10
Class 2/3 WH Gas mining isk generation 3/10, risk 2/10

I dobt know why a t3 filament should be at 5/10 risk xD you can do it afk in an ishtar or gila

ahh true :stuck_out_tongue: I’m a gunner pilot with almost 0 in drone skill’s so I’m not able to afk abyss site’s but I do see your point.

Meh might as well abuse it while we can xD

The AI isn’t really anything special, they just pile tons of EWAR and everyone spams it on you and orbits at X.

I have seen some frigs fall back when they feel they are being kited out to be killed and return to the protection of the bigger ships.

True AI would make us all rage quit they would take turns webbing and scramming us and the ones that almost die will burn out of range rep up and come back in so the next person can get range and rep up the keyboard companies will do really well.

I think that’s more glitchy than anything, because I see them do all kinds of weird ■■■■ like stop moving and set their speed to 0 sometimes, or randomly start orbiting out of their own range.

The AI sets one npc to be the ‘FC’. If you kill that one there has to be an ‘election’ to nominate a new FC. That is what is happening when you see the npc’s stop, they are working how who is the new boss.

I found they stopped when you stop say next to a supresors or something which is all good since they don’t screw up their tracking as much

I don’t go into the abyss anymore, not worth the effort honestly, imo and I was running 4/5s

Same. Only I haven’t even bothered with 5s on TQ after having plenty of them on Sisi.

They said they’ll increase loot drop for lower tiers with July update so remains to be seen

You know, increase loot drop = less loot value, except red loot. But red loot is an ISK faucet. The closed ecosystem of Abyss stuff makes it very difficult to balance the loot. Also I don’t like buffing the risk-free part of this, people are already farming T3 like crazy.

Could hardly care what they increase won’t go back.
Just mentioned what was announced for July update

Increased loot drop decreases prices thou which ups demand and that raises the price as well, no one wants to pay 200mil for a frig hull. There is more than 2 variables determining price for the farmer.

Aparently the red loot will be one of the major increases in drops which doesnt affect prices on everything else Since It’s Npc demand

T3s get buffed with more Gravid and Unstable; T4s and T5s get nerfed. More red loot for all.
Maybe the survey feedback helped. +1 for me.

Yea i’M not against do it yourself abyssal altered ship for tier 4 and 5 usually alot of games offer tools to improve your build since this is basically single player content
