Abyss Loot

If that where to happen then triglavian ships would cost billions to make and they are not worth that much.

Not if they adapt the loot Tables accordingly. If for example they would make it so that you just need 5 to 10 runs to get in average everything to build a Triglevian ship prices would stay okay while running the sites would be rewarding.

If they paid out bounties in addition to loot - that would be rewarding. You could also have the wrecks drop tags that could be redeemed by NPC orders, but the problem then becomes looting the wrecks and still completing in under the alloted time. You could also pay out a reward based on tier level completion time.

All these ideas are problematic, and truthfully - running against a fixed timer just isn’t that exciting. It was fun for a week or so, but far better rewards can be had through missioning or exploration for most players.

Once you’ve got the 9 skills and built one of each ship - really what else is left? I guess if CCP offers more Precursor content down the road you’ll have the necessary skills trained. Mutaplasmids are a mixed bag of snakes. But once you have what you want there’s really no reason to venture back into the abyss…

That sounds about right, 5 average F3 runs to build a cruiser, faster if F4s or F5s, much slower if F2s or F1s. That’s what it should be but it isn’t.

The otehr ideas are good as well, add bounties, maybe tags, hell, you can even give them a good chance to drop T2 salvage. LOL now wouldn’t that be fun ? Got 3 minutes left on your timer ? Going for the salvage ?

I did all that for two characters in the first week. I liked the challenge. It was the terrible loot rate Nerf and the lazy gankers that turned me away.

People have nothing better to do than to waste half a bill trying to kill me. Eventually they would have and set me back more than all I have made from the abyss.
