Agree. That fit is completely built for T5 Dark. The Dark systems have a huge turret range debuff, which helps to dodge a lot of NPC minion’s damage. A MWD fit is a total fail there. In other Abyss systems there can be problems. Dark portals are strong due to a lot of Triglavian spawns (high and stacking Alpha strike). A 3B fit is a way too far beyond any rewards available in those sites . Overall, the video blog is very good at tactic explanation and why different rats are dangerous and how to encounter them, because even with that fit you can be destroyed being in a close range to Rogue BC.
Which is tier zero. I am not interested to run a single Abysmal site. I do PvE to make isk (safely) and am a F1 monkey in glorious BRAVE space. I also think, without any data to support that gut feeling, most players will not risk more then once or twice expensive ships in these new sites and will return to their daily ways of playing EvE.
I share your feelings. It is another step up the ladder for EvE to become fully WoW.
Beside gambling and instancing, they sneaked in something else more worrisome IMO … a non-PvP source of material destruction, driven by the strong force of gambling addiction. This paves the way to an economy “working” without non-consensual PvP.
I hope CCP creates Frigate and Destroyer Abyssal Sites that allow for fleets of six ships to run each site.
Teamwork would be essential or the entire fleet is lost.

Different tier’s have different player numbers tier 1 is 2 man tier 2 is 3 man tier 4 is 5 man tier 5 is 10man
Then any number of friend’s can at least do some type of content.
And it would have to have different loot so that cruiser site’s wouldn’t devalue the frig sites and visa versa.
Pretty sure this has existed since pve was introduced. You would have lost them from the loot fairy irrespective of whether you pvped or not.

Not frigs, but were talking high end pve content run in groups, and that already exists.
The problem is that if its run in groups, it cannot be separately instanced anymorr because it takes more than one person entering which means that people need to be able to enter freely. Also, the loot system would also have to be changed into what it is with incursions, i.e. it would just be a clone of incursions, which we dont need.
Hmm, there is way’s lets say you activate the module (it stays on until either enough modules are on or you switch it off again) and so many people nearby have to also activate them, when there is a certain amount of activated modules within 10km’s of each other those players all enter the instance in 1 go, loot is dropped and players have to share it up themselves and so on.
The biggest problem with incursions is it requires a crap ton of people, its not something you can partake in with a small group of friend’s in my instance I would love a 3 man but that is not something that is possible in eve atm.

Ded’s - 1 man
Abyss Sites - 1man
Wormholes - unlimited (pretty nice)

Lots of problems with that, least of all the fact that no in game mechanic even comes close to allowing for such a thing. If a dozen people activate the module, but the max amount of players allowed is 6, how does it get decided who gets in and who doesnt? If i randomly warp to you and activate, does it mean i can enter and mess up/ troll you? Those are just off the top of my head. Your idea is terrible.
K so i can activate the module alongside you, go in and wait for you to finish then steal the loot cause obviously no suspect timer?
You dont need that many. Its only if you want to run it optimally that you would need the max possible.
But again, you are only asking for a smaller version of something that already exists.

2 groups of 6. Not so hard.
So its just randomly takes 6 out of the 12 and puts it in a room? So you have a group of people activating the module, and its just random? I can come in a cheap ship, kick someone out of your friends group and take his place instead and ruin your room?

As pointed out, no BS group spawn and no bad structure / cloud spawns. Just got lucky with good spawn RNG.
That is my plan after we finish deployment…
