Here’s how you do it:
Fit out T1 cruiser for T1-2 abyss. Cap stable. Include Web/scram. Vexor works great. keep it around 30-40 mil.
Drop your trace in a busy lowsec system on grid with a gate or FW plex, 1000km off. Tama, OMS, etc. Pick your poison.
Run the abyss.
See what’s waiting on the outside. Bossfight ensues.

Just exactly how is it profit?
Very doubtful a ganker is going to drop lot’s of phat loot.
It’s like the keke challenge or eating tide pods. The profit comes in the form of social validation or something.
He may have misposted it into PvE and should have posted it into PvP. It sounds like a decent method of getting fights if you have prepared for it.
If you need a fight in Tama, you do not need the abyss trail.
Yeah but doing this makes it into a surprise. You never know what you’re gonna get.
All this does is let them set up an instablap camp on you. May as well just shoot the first thing you see, at least you may kill something.
Light a cyno and gank the gankers! Good chance their loot is worth more than whats in a t1/2 site.
Pop out of the hole and light the cyno? Eh, yea, yolo, sounds like it could be a blast if you have a squad on standby.
