Accidentally banned on Tranquility, now banned on Singularity

Hello,

I was recently accidentally banned on the Tranquility server. Eve support noted that I got picked up in some of their automated systems and it was a false ban. However, this also resulted in me getting banned from Singularity. They won’t do anything to unban me from the Singularity test server and I was directed here. Is there any help in this forum that could solve this problem for me? I’d greatly appreciate being able to use the test server for a few things, and it’s really annoying that their accidental ban for my character not only kept me banned for over 8 days, but also they won’t undo the ban on Singularity.

Any help is greatly appreciated,
Thanks!

I assume you will be banned until the next mirror? Hopefully the ban will not get stuck permanently but tbh that wouldn’t surprise me either. Btw them sending you here is more of a “don’t call us we’ll call you” kind of measure, basically directing you elsewhere so you don’t use up more of their time. Nobody here can help you as we are just other players of the game and GMs / support already clarified you won’t get help from them. The best people here can do for you is provide information I guess.

Thanks, I wasn’t quite sure about that but makes sense. I was hoping I’d get back in on the next mirror as well, whenever that may be… I suppose will just have to wait and see.

You’ll have to wait until the next mirror. And there is no customer support for Singularity issues, at best a friendly bug hunter can help people out with problems (but not with bans, I suppose).

This is the slightly more worrying part. The ccp team responsible for security gave assurance during their presentation that no one gets a ban from being picked up by an automated system (or player report), but that there would always be a manual review of each case before a ban was imposed.

Next mirror is likely November or December

I hadn’t read that there were such assurances. I was banned for a number of days before they looked at my case and unbanned me. They compensated omega time plus a bit and a month’s worth of skilil points for my two characters that were banned. Needless to say I was crazy anxious about it because I couldn’t imagine what I did. I wish there was more communication, but I did like they compensated me that stuff, which is about the least they could do lol.

Yes, I’d say Customer Service handled that pretty well, and as much as they could. Props to them.

No one from ccp directed you here…

Just wait for sisi mirror to get refreshed…

They do actually refer them to the forums, but under certain circumstances they’ll tell them where to go. Like the issue I conveyed over COSMOS, they directed me to Assembly hall or PF&I.
