I just have some idea. When you click on system when some1 has linked it in chat and when you click on that system it would be great if u can see how much jumps u r away from that system.

Or as an augmented tool tip.
See the last tab there? Route. That will show you how far away you are.
That said… I do agree a tooltip for distance would be fantastic. I often find myself perched in a citadel, listening to intel channels, wondering if there’s a roaming gang that I can go annoy.
Then I open NEAR and it tells me.
