Skill plans and AIR seem to be working under Proton experiemental now. Haven’t checked with GE yet, but I’m guessing it’ll work.
I spent about a week troubleshooting this… just in time for them to fix it. From my goofing around, it looks like AIR and Skill Plans have always worked with Lutris + GE or even their default Wine runner, making this exclusively a Proton issue.
That would imply that EVE Anywhere runs on Proton as I witnessed the fix you describe at your approximate time of posting.
This makes sense actually. Windows machine licenses are not free.
Linux is in fact free; so makes sense it would spin up a VM for free and then feed out a video stream for zero dollars extra. Just a little processing power applied is all.
