What about buffing payouts for hi sec missions? Prices going up everywhere but payouts for missions hasnt changed
new variations of highsec missions would be nice as well.
Point on the doll where the null person touched you, lol.
I get that missions are old as dirt, and hard as hell to fix, thats why they keep adding new pve stuff, but “c’mon man” give us mission runners some love at least raise the rewards.
TBH I think at some point the entire mission system needs to be reworked and redone, but that takes a couple of expansions to do.
they’ve said they wanna redo it, its just so wrapped up in spaghetti, that they keep putting it off. but at the same token, they’ve changed several times how they release expansions or whatever you wanna call the additions over the years.
Good afternoon,
I’d like to take some time out of my overly busy schedule to address a few things. First a bit of disclosure, I am the Rush Chairman for the Goonswarm Super-Secret Fornite, Sumo Betting, and Bob Ross Watch Party Squad. While Mr Satan and I stand opposed politically if you will in the space of Null Sec, I feel your unjust attacks on his character by insinuating that he’s somehow responsible for some super-secret pact between Goonswarm, INIT, Pandemic Horde and Fraternity to deprive Lowsec, HighSec and Wormholers of content. This is factually untrue. Sir Satan of Alcoholism is a fine upstanding citizen of the game, not some pawn in CCP Rattati’s plan to upend this game as to force people to play EVE 2 in an effort to escape the clutches of Dark Shines iron grip on mineral harvesting and super capital production.
As the only sig leader in Goonswarm who’s discord was not leaked by Jeremy, I can assure if you I know a thing or two about secrets and how to keep them and The Honorable Horned Drinker, Son of Prohibition, is not keeping any from you nor is he an agent of CCP Rattati, he who hates Crabs and Red Lobster Waitresses.
I feel that it is only fair and right that somebody come to his defense in light of your unwarranted, unsubstantiated attacks on his character. Shame on you sir.
Lmfao, another great post for Mr. Ceema, first of his name, shitter of posts, memer of reddit.
It is factually true that there is no bloc coalition on the CSM, and often times we do disagree about things, and other things we support each other in.
Nobody is rubbing our hands together while wearing a monicle and talking in mobster accents trying to think of the best way to kill the game faster as well, lol. We all want what we think is best for the game, but at the end of the day sometimes CCP takes those suggestions and does what they want with them.
The CSM18 accomplishments listed proves that Satan is very capable of working together with CCP, is one of the few candidates that actually gets stuff done instead of whine on reddit & that with Satan on the CSM, 0.0 will only get better which in turn improves the rest of the game too. He has my votes!
@Alcoholic_Satan Do you support hiring (EVE Vanguard) Warclone Mercenaries as an attack/defense vector in Capsuleer conflicts? Like attacking/defending Planetary Infrastructure, Skyhooks/POCOs and Upwell Structures?
As a CSM would you try and pitch for CCP to make stack multi-split (splitting a stack of items into multiple stacks of same size in one go instead of just one split at a time) happen?
Will we ever know what beef you guys had with CCP recently. The thing Mike mentioned in his Update and CCP Swift briefly explained on reddit as a new ISK sink?

I think it would be interesting to have Vanguard affect Eve Online, but I’m not sure how I’d like it to affect it.

I’ve actually suggested this and a couple other things related to stacks and splitting stacks.

Not before anyone’s NDA’s run out.
O7 Alcoholic Satan,
Last year I asked eight questions and then compiled the answers into a huge mega-thread. It was massive. With the exception of MILINT_ARC_Trooper, no one had a thread bigger than mine, to be fair MILINT_ARC_Troopers’ thread was so weighty and knowledgable it teetered on the edge of collapsing into its’ own core.
That catalogue of replies is now a time-capsule and encapsulated within are the hopes and disappointments that CSM 18 candidates considered worth speaking about during the year of EVE’s 20th anniversary.
The responses gave voters en masse an opportunity to test and compare each hopeful CSM 18 candidates commitment to their claims of being community oriented, knowledgable, responsive and representative of player values. Given that the CSM does not directly control any aspect of EVE’s development and that the successful candidates are those that can identify existing and future consequences, co-operate with other CSM members, and communicate issues -from a player perspective- to CCP staff one-to-one, I’ve formulated a set of questions designed to seperate the compressed ORE from the Long-Limb Roes in this years election race.
Year-on-year the Independent Representatives, Solo players with single accounts, Worm Holers, Triangle People, Semi-nomadic Role-Playing Sandbox Explorers, and Salvagers, have been organising and gaining traction against the self-secure Null-Bloc Empire Candidates and their vast hordes of leather-skinned, evil, flying-monkeys. More-and-more players are choosing to vote in members they believe can positively impact CCP’s approach to the game regardless of their in-game affiliations.
Exposure matters, who are you, what is your clue?
As was the process last year I will post each candidates reply in a super thread, first-in first-served.
This years questions:
-
What ONE identifiable consequence requires CCP’s attention?
-
What PROVABLE evidence can you supply to support your belief in this situation?
-
What practical, and balanced change can be made to support a solution if any?
-
What support do your observations have from other CSM candidates?
-
How will you present your findings to CCP?
If you have already identified and spoken about a problem in your CSM candidacy bio at the top of this thread feel free to copy pasta that response where applicable. I’ll copy paste directly from your response to this post. Choose your goblet…. wisely.
Let the games begin, and may the odds ever be in your favour.

First I’d like to start with my experience with Alcoholic Satan as well as my first six months in Pandemic Horde. In my brief time in Pandemic Horde there have been many times I have found myself having more fun than I have ever had playing this game. The alliance, the people and the attitudes are completely different from the experiences I’ve had for my first four years of playing. It is my belief that good leaders are the first step towards good subordinates. The helpfulness I have received from those in management roles has exceeded my hopes let alone my expectations.
I was hesitant to message anyone with a certain colorful name near the top of a discord server list because I wasn’t sure if it was allowed, let alone if they’d give me the light of day. I am very happy to say that, from my experience, those folks have made it seem like a mission to answer all my questions, but also to remain a phone a friend lifeline should I ever need it. I imagine that some of you may read this and say I’m just gaslighting to brown nose or suck up to Satan in some way and I assure you I’m not nor would I ever do that.
I give credit to those that deserve it. Even those that may not of learned much from Alcoholic Satan, are still in management rolls because of their ability to converse, adapt and apply help and knowledge where it’s necessary for the betterment of the alliance. We all know the difference in performance when you have a good boss as opposed to a bad one. He puts the game first, and he wants to better it as a whole too.
Secondly, when asked to give three words to describe himself, he chose. “Serious, Curious, and approachable” Which I feel was the best response to that question. You can have someone that is playful and lighthearted, and likes to joke and have fun. This might change when things start happening, whether it’s a dread brawl over a single fort timer or a deployment to actually change a situation as a whole, point being that Satan said, flat out what he is going to be like with one word, he then described in one word that even though he’s been playing for a long time that he is still curious, still learning.
To me that displays a certain sense of being humble towards those around him. We all know that eve is a constant learning experience, you may have a solid handle on what you think is the game or a certain aspect of the game only to realize something totally and completely different involving a part of the game you know very little about but that my actually apply to the part of the game that you are most familiar with. Being humble and open to information from those around you is a very good, and otherwise, undervalued quality in a good leader.
The last word was approachable, who here doesn’t want to be able to approach
their leader, or in this case a CSM elected representative. Of course, there are certain levels of approachable, as well as a certain tactfulness needed in speaking to him even though there is an “open door” policy, its a nice reminder of how humble he is as well as Satan just saying “I’m still one of you regardless of my position” Sure sounds nice to me. He has shown me a lot of trust and I hope I am able to earn it as well as not disappoint him.
Now that I’ve said my piece on why I support Alcoholic Satan, I have a few questions of my own, and forgive me if they have been asked, I haven’t read the comments in a while on the post.

As far as carrier and super rebalancing, I know you mentioned surgical strike and the fighter patch, would you also consider changes to tank in any way? Perhaps change up the slots more? As it stands now, we all know that there are two supers that are more easily targeted than the other two. How would you go about balancing that out if you wanted to go deeper than just the fighter rework?
-
What would you do to carriers to make them more viable again other than just boosting platforms and conduit yeeters, assuming you have that insanely expensive SP capital jump conduit skill trained?
-
What would you do to make the game more interesting and approachable for new players, perhaps even people that have thought about trying Eve Online but have never committed once they have seen the immense time it takes to train into some ships? Is there anything specifically you would change or add to help entice more visibility towards the game?
Thank you for your time in reading this. Alcoholic Satan for CSM 19.
With 1 being the lowest chance and 10 being the best chance:
What chance do you give convincing CCP to make drone NPC ratting more valuable? At a bare minimum maybe dropping the salvage in the normal wrecks, instead of forcing people to salvage it? Giving us something other than nothing. As it stands and you’ve already stated, even if you did salvage the wrecks its hardly worth your time.
Drones never carry loot. Why would drones drop loot?
Probably like a 7. They’ve already made concessions to Drone Regions in equinox based on feedback from myself to bring them more in line with other regions’ rats in the game. I think I can work to get more done on this in the future.
My name is Alcoholic Satan, yes.

There is honestly way too many to pick just one. Null mining needs a lot of attention ASAP, especially mercoxit. Carriers and supers need to be balanced and buffed, skyhook raiding needs to meet a middle ground. Those are just to name a few.
-
For mining, next month’s MER should be extremely telling. For mercoxit, just look at morphite prices. Just the other day the price was up 75% over the last 30 days. For carriers and supers, none are being used outside of CRABs.
-
I’ll just do one issue for this. For Carriers and Supers, undo a lot of Surgical Strike and undo the dromi nerfs from patch 18.
-
I can’t say who supports it, but there is support for these changes amongst the CSM, and the community.
-
CCP has already been made very aware of these glaring issues during my term, and I will continue to press these issues if re-elected to CSM 19.
