But didn’t CCP keep the proviso that they would nerf Alphas in the future if things got hairy? I read that in another thread somewhere from a veteran.
I guess things got hairy and CCP felt it was time to do something before they lost ALL their players.

I don’t see what the problem is with these changes, so alphas can’t gank freely in HS, maybe it will cause alpha’s to populate low sec to activate their disable safety like it should have been all along.
Alpha’s were able to use combat drones but not mining drones…what if someone wanted to “try out” mining drones but couldn’t because of the restriction.
These small changes needed to be done, we know that multi boxing happens even in alpha land, but I also know for sure that people are just putting up false flags, gankers will adapt, they are also NOT going away but hopefully the griefers will be reduced (probably not), but people who want to do crime should move to more lawless areas.

It’s never enough for some people. I hope that CCP can find a good balance and maybe they already have.
Those who continue to complain about gankers will now be easier to ignore and they’ll have a harder time justifying any more of like changes.
If so then security status shouldn’t be lowered in my view.
