So, I appreciate you taking the time to type this up for us, but there’s already a list that also includes what level you can train all the skills to. :grimacing:
No P2W

37% of the skill names, sounds too good for a demo version
but less than 4% of the total sp
all’s well, it’s a demo.

pay to play, not pay to win… you want all skills sub…that simple.

You can go to every ultra-pay2win game in existence and find the equivalent of you making excuses that it isn’t.

But it actually is.

It would not be if the sub was the only way to play. But now it is advertised as free2play with the free tier being completely inferior to the payed one. It’s literally pay2win.

I don’t say that because I hate the game. I say that because it’s true and EVE will just get worse if we constantly defend their stupid monetization crap that makes this once so awesome game look to everyone outside the community like the bastard child of a mobile game and a pachinko machine.

I got an idea bring back level fours for alpha characters and to balance that take away the free ship insurance

so get rid of alpha clones then…

Totally fine with that. But as long as that isn’t the case I will rightfully call it pay2win.

ship insurance isn’t free… and no alpha’s don’t need level 4’s…

Get rid of Alphas and go back to a 2 week trial like we used to have. If you want to play past that point, get a subscription…

Roll back to no t2 weapons thanks

Depends on your definition of win of course. An Alpha could still take on a Omega and kill them through good planning, execution, skill. Or mine more / explore more. I get the argument that an Omega can train skills to a higher level. Plus your argument doesn’t hold true for Alpha vs Alpha engagements even if you disregard the other points.

Cope.
He is right you know

Yeah as I have seen numerous times, here and on other games with extremely obvious pay2win mechanics, that a lot of players will go to really great lengths to define “win” in a way so they can keep their delusion that their game isn’t actually pay2win.

All you do with this extremely obvious excuses is help reinforce CCP’s bias that this is all just fine and they can happily add more monetization to further dilute the whole gameplay. You must really hate this game if you think that is a good thing.

So why not be honest and call it for what it is? You don’t scare away new players with it, they are not biased and will recognize it as such anyway the moment they enter the game.

Seeing as I can kill omega characters with my alpha wouldn’t that make it pay to lose?
