Don’t need to sub…don’t need to buy skins…don’t need outfits…don’t need to buy packs…
You have no idea what this conversation is about, do you? You just tossed out word salad that made no sense at all.
Suicide ganking really only tends to hit fairly specific, niche type of targets. What are you doing that you’re making yourself an attractive target? There are almost certainly ways to prevent it.
while they are impactful, replace other ships that need to be manufactured properly, and quite a lot of them can be seen in game.
Where and how the BP are sourced is another question.

The SOCT ships do interfere with industry a lot because they are being handed out by the thousands and supplant thousands of losses of other BC and BS every month. They don’t need minerals to be build and suppress more mineral consumption because thousands of other A/CBC and BS aren’t being built because of them.

Agree 100%. CCP this is not acceptable. Really dislike Skill point sale for $… it really kills progression in the game, but now to add fitted ships and skills to fly it… really!!! CCP may harvest some Cash now, but i am sure in a year’s time your metrics will show that you lost that player and potential subscription due to lack of progression in the game. Why aim to achieve something in this game, if you can just buy it. This “Buy to Win” strategy by CCP management is going to kill this game.

What I really don’t understand is why they choose some controversial Pandora’s box kind of monetisation instead of going for the obvious, wanted and readily accepted options.
Actually make most of the older skins available on the NES, the ones you can’t have anymore or there’s 2 left on the market, for 3 bil each. Increasing the size of the NES in the process.
Some skins should be limited because they had a special reason to be implemented but the vast majority are just normal skins you can’t have anymore. So what CCP is telling newer players is “lol, no soup for you. You can’t have all these cool skins for your ships. Go buy this mining barge pack instead”.
It’s dumb, it’s a fckup AND it’s a missed opportunity.
Absolutely right, the red line has been crossed. CCP you dig your own grave, do you really want to squeeze the lemon until only organic waste is left?
That would require them to put effort into the NES by implementing proper filter options or a separate window that doesn’t close with every session change, for instance. Can’t have that with this iteration of CCP.
Z, It’s so rare that (other than your QA notes on UI issues) that I agree with you but you hit a nail on the head with his one.
As someone who spends 8+ hours a day, everyday, to pull 20-30mil to ever so slowly grow my industry, this is is the unseen punch in the gut. Minerals have been taking a hit ever since I started playing. It’s not so much the ‘ship out of thin air’ as it is ‘Minerals out of thin air’.
My condolences…
Well, I see this thread seems to have had no effect. The package is still available for sale. I guess the road to pay-to-win is being paved and expanded to 4-lanes. Next step I assume is battleships. I started a second Omega account two years ago specifically to create a miner. Apparently I could practically achieve the same thing just with this new pack. Never played BDO but I hear it is completely dominated by pay-to-win. Is that the future of Eve Online? Will this be a topic of discussion at the Fan Fest?
On the verboten list, I’m sure.
Seconded the CSM letter.
After 16 years of continuous subscription I have cancelled it on all my accounts.
Plex isn’t really ‘goods’. They have no direct interaction with the rest of the economy. Just another currency.
