Announcement to the Drifter People: Slaves

Sorry, I already get plenty of fresh fruit. Peddle your staleness elsewhere.

I really hope that typo is an intentional witticismā€¦ but really, attacking civilian Amarr over Napkinsā€™ idiocy is pretty much being Napkins. Donā€™t fall into that trap. Donā€™t be that vaguely human-shaped ball of insecurity and fear.

With respect,

PIE, an Amarr aligned corporation, rescued them, not to mention generally show up in numbers to confront him on numerous other actions hes taken.

ā€œThank you for saving our kin, now watch as we kill yours in the same way you just saved ours from.ā€

He has been denounced by the Amarr as a whole, he is their blight as much as ours.

In addition, We. Are. Better. Than. That. We do not need to resort to such weak tactics as our resiliance is in it of itself proof that we are superior morally. You try to destroy our culture, we form a Republic around it.

Thatā€™s really more a feature of the more ā€œmainstreamā€ Sani Sabik (Blood Raiders, etc.), Ms. Vess. Though really what counts as ā€œgoodā€ blood to use for occult purposes depends on who you ask.

Mr. Naupliusā€™s take seems to be pretty much about finding reasons to murder Matari other than just, you know, because theyā€™re Matari. When a local government wants people to do a little voluntary pest control they might do some publicity explaining that such-and-such a creature is both plentiful and tasty and suggesting some recipes. I think his intent is kind of like that-- or rather, that he thinks his god is doing something similar.

ā€œHelp exterminate the Minmatar to win fabulous occult prizes!ā€ -Naupliusā€™s god.

That kind of thing.

Welp, canā€™t say your wrong. Was hoping Naupliusā€™ mind still wasnā€™t THAT dilluted.

Not even close.

Well, his wife left him and he had an abrupt revelation that her (also my) ethnic and cultural group, the Achura, is a long-lost tribe of Minmatar whose blood grants occult power to the ā€œChosen.ā€ Whatā€™s more, I donā€™t really doubt that he honestly believes it. And thatā€™s just the latest example.

So. . . .

Yeah.

Reading this announcement has only reinforced my opinion that Sani Sabik faith groups in the Federation and their derivatives are about the only people Iā€™d ever advocate having extrajudicial action conducted against them.

Thereā€™s tolerance, but also its limits, if a faith like theirs promote thinking like whatā€™s on display with this guy.

If this sick form of execution is suppose to be your attempt at ā€œpeacemakingā€ with the abominations. Then i have noā€¦Raa-grets of foiling it as quickly as i could.

Word of this crossed me just as i was at the right place in the right time. Despite it being unlikely the Drifters to care for this ā€œtributeā€. I saw it fit not to take chances with them showing interest and pull them out myself.

218 of the 5,000 slaves were picked up by a pilot of PIE, @Riccoda_Arada to be exact. While waiting for the patrolling Lancers to warp off, Iā€™ve observed Riccoda come in with a Magnate and loot the last remaining cargo container.

As for the 4,782 slaves in my care; Iā€™ve have my crew do background checks on each individual. To aid this i took them over to a Amarrian Trade registry station in the nearby system of Mehatoor. There we checked for any paperwork on any of the slaves and found that 3,484 of the slaves are actually legal property of roughly 50 different holders in several regions. Sadly i cannot access any reports explaining how they mightā€™ve ended up in this Capsuleerā€™s hand to begin with.

The 1,298 left however have no legal documentations of ever being slaves in the Empire, thus will be set freeā€¦ As a sign of curiosity to Amarrian customs; the 3,484 slaves that legally belong to various holders will be released back into the hands of the Amarr Empire. To do this, I ask of you @Maria_Daphiti to take them off my hands. I trust a pilot of PIE would see to it they end up where they need to.

We all know that the Achurans are actually a long lost group of Khanid that embarked on a journey through space utilising generation ships.

How judgemental and prejudiced of you to think that way.

If one judges the threat of mad dogs to the nation to exist, then they are best dealt by putting a bullet in the back of their head with an extreme prejudice.

Humanely.

I too judge entire groups of people by the example of a particularly extreme individual.

Sani Sabik arenā€™t known for their communal service and handing out hugs and cookies. In fact the most well known of them, at least in the capsuleer class are demonstratably insane and such clowns that they would be funny were it not for the actual deaths they cause.

But sure, letā€™s weep over the unfair conclusions piled on top of them.

Aha, now thereā€™s a post that finally caught my attention.

No Iā€™m judging an entire religion as being unworthy of toleration insofar as it promotes the harm of others in service to its beliefs; and by extension those who dismiss the value of life of others should not find a shield under the law.

My slaves are unlikely to live very long released into the general population. Please return them to the Raa Jove Observatory so that they can perform the diplomatic role that I intended for them before they glorify God in their deaths.

This casino is rigged.

I can say as a proud TLF member and a former puppet of the Amarrian regime. When I served in the Ammatar Military prior to the Elder fleet arriving to show those of us brave enough to the light. I am happy that you saved those poor souls. Freed those that are justly free people. If only you had freed those who were slaves and sent them to live with their brothers and sisters in the free tribes of the Minmatar Republic, or let them go and choose their own life in the Galante Federation.

But you did what is right in your twisted view of the galaxy. And I should not be the one who judges, for it is not my place.
