Every year the writing gets better, truly. As a former contestant and now a judge, I can state firmly that the stuff I put up was shamed by everyone this year! It’s so encouraging, and an inspiration to try harder. Thank you to everyone.

I guess once again I’ve been good but not good enough, I’m starting to seriously dislike always placing myself this way. However, I don’t think it will happen again as I doubt I’ll have anything to write about for any new contest and for next year ones.
Anyway, congrats again, hope you had plenty of fun in your party yesterday.

Bah, writing contests and rankings of art and endeavors. People try to make rankings as fair and representative they possibly can. But putting a numerical score on a very analog spectrum of ideas can’t not but be kind of arbitrary. Put your fingers on datapad, Miyoshi friend. People read, enjoy, and appreciate. Mostly silently and without comment, because just reading is what readers do.
