((OOC NOTE FOR ISD - This is specifically an In Character/Roleplay thing - a writing contest to be done by ā€œcharactersā€, not the players. The expectation is the submissions, whether poetry, prose or academic ā€™ would be in character or related to the character of to the capsuleer submitting it and people will have rp as part of the process. I also invite comments on the IGS related to this post in a RP vein or other RP in channels! Judging is also on an In character basis. This is the Fifth Year running for this contest so I appreciate if this can be kept in the rp forum like past years))

Updated to add the final roster of judges. We also have three entries already! Iā€™ll start a list in the OP at some point.

For contestants - The best way to make sure your submission is noticed, is to send me a mail on your neocomm or to post a link here to where you submitted it.

A quick question for you. How many submissions can any one contestant submit?

There is no limit other than the ā€˜rule of reasonā€™

Hello, just exactly which Eve sub-forum should the submissions be posted in?

Also should the title of the thread include ā€œYC 121 New Eden Capsuleerā€™s Writing Contestā€?

Two potential posting places (and Iā€™ll update OP when I can)

Eve Forums - Fiction Portal - Player Fiction
https://forums.eveonline.com/c/fiction-portal/fiction

or Backstage - Eve Fiction Board
http://backstage.eve-inspiracy.com/index.php?board=6.0

While not required, it helps me track entries if you do start your title [YC 121 New Eden Capsuleerā€™s Writing Contest] or something similar.

Ahhh, thanks for the reply. I wasnā€™t sure if the Player Fiction sub-forum was the correct one.

Any chance of accepting a shortened version to the title, such as [YC 121 NECWC] ?

Absolutely. Makes sense.

Can one take part with 2 story? I would like to write story from the time of ancient when very first independent captains roamed the stars of Providence. It would be the story of exploration, born of CVA and how I met the exalted lord Aralis.
