((All submissions are expressly subject to the TOS and we certainly do not claim ownership. The submission of course, however, must be yours.

Note for ISD - This is specifically an In Character/Roleplay thing - a writing contest to be done by “characters”, not the players. The expectation is the submissions, whether poetry, prose or academic ’ would be in character or related to the character of to the capsuleer submitting it and people will have rp as part of the process. I also invite comments on the IGS related to this post in a RP vein or other RP in channels! Judging is also on an In character basis. This is the Fourth Year running for this contest.))

Thanks, Luna

My submission for the Academic category: The Big Blue Sky of Doom

Last day!

I’ll accept July 31st timestamp anywhere in the Cluster

((as these forums and backstage have different timestamps))

Here are my submissions.

For the Poetry category: https://meta.eveonline.com/t/yc-119-necwc-entry-figments-of-poetry/12630
For the Prose category: https://meta.eveonline.com/t/yc-119-necwc-entry-belonging/12634

I hope you’ll enjoy them.

I believe it is still technically before the deadline for last minute submissions. I was debating whether or not to submit this at all but I suppose in the spirit of things here it is.

File Name: Where does that breeze go?

Forgive an engineers tentative attempt at traditional Amarrad poetic verse.

I will submit my scripture reflection under the category of Academic writing: https://meta.eveonline.com/t/scriptural-reflection-amash-akura-25-16-on-service/12721

Entries closed!

Entries have been sent off to judges for review and judging. 22 participants this year and I thank each of them for participating and I wish them all luck!

I know the award ceremony will be in November, but will the winners be announced sooner, or do we have to wait until then?

Honestly, I think I’ll schedule the event whenever the judges are done (goal is two weeks). Perhaps it will be sooner in August or September!
