Another loss for Edencom in The Forge

That’s why I call it a con job and not whatever they call it.
It’s painfully obvious that the Devs do everything for the Trigs to win their inva-haha! ( I can’t even say it without laughing anymore ) inva- invasi-hahaha!! While the empires, who do business and have treaties with each other, let the whole joke go on without a major intervention to repel that inva-hahaaaa!!
I’ll stop now. My sides hurt.

Remember, you dont have to take bullsh!t from anybody tho. Even CCP. You are a customer and you have always choice.

I love how you think CCP are favouring the invaders when EDENCOM got 12 free fortresses from “massive fortifications” that they didn’t even have to fight for.

well thats why the whole thing is felt to be a con job…

Serenity wont fight for trigs, and CCP wants the servers to pretty much match…
which means CCP has a plan for when this thing concludes…
and my gut feeling is players on either side of the Trig fence are not going to like it.

The choice to quit a game is no choice at all. As you mentioned, hisec was ( supposed ) to be for the casual players ( unless the whole thing is BS ) and with this invas-haha! it doesn’t look like hiseccers have a lot of choices: Either join with the Devs’ faction in the destruction of hisec or move the hell out of hisec. That’s some kinda choice, oh boy! Again, that sandbox issue pops its ugly head.

Personally, I don’t really care because I started playing EVE with the goal to move to lowsec but what about the new player who just wants to play casually ? I guess EVE isn’t a game he can now get into.
And here I thought one of the goals of an MMO was to have MORE players and not less. Didn’t think I’d be wrong about that, lol.

I’m glad you love it.

Now, name ONE system that Edencom took back from the Trigs that changed security status upward.
Also, care to respond to this?

Arshat went first liminality before it went Redoubt and subsequently Fortress. So the security status went down before jumping back up.

Why is everyone so focused on taking back Final Liminalities? Still upset over Niarja?

So, in the end, the system never got one notch above its original sec status, that is, before the Trig inva-sigh- incursion.

I’m not focused on that. If the Devs want to destroy hisec, well, it’s their game isn’t it ? It won’t stop me from enjoying other contents.

Still ? Why should I care about hisec if I plan to go live in null ?

One thing I am happy about: it’s the chaos they’re creating. I love it. Forces players to pay attention to what they’re doing/planning and be more involved in the content they chose to engage in.

I still don’t understand why CCP didn’t make one of the other three factions beat the livin’ sh!t out of Caldari ( since they hate them so much ) instead of resorting to such imbalanced mechanisms and screwing the players in the process.
I mean, there are enough factions in EVE to create the chaos they want, no need to come up with some half-baked, untested new content that favors one group of players over the other.

And if they don’t want hisec players, all they have to do is eliminate the rating system and make the whole game lowsec :woman_shrugging:

Citation needed.

Not really, they want few that will give 10 times as much as even 10 times larger amount of players would do. This is the concept of whale in mmos.

It is usually male, spends a lot of cash to win a lot and to feel superior to others in game. These people sometimes compansate for lack of success in real life. Sometimes are just rich irresponsible kids that pay from dads wallet. :credit_card:

Please, don’t bring gender into this. It has nothing to do with “male” or “female” ( which happen to designate animal gender and not human gender, being ‘man’ or ‘woman’ ) but everything to do with enjoying one’s game.
Of COURSE one player needs to feel superior to another, that’s why PVP exists, it’s like sports/competition.

wow… what a concept. And they hope to take EVE through another decade with that concept? Good luck to them, seriously.
What’s an ocean with only whales in it ? A dead ocean is what it is.

All the interesting stuff has been happening in game with the players, E,g, WWB, the fall of providence, etc. . . This trig stuff is old and just getting in the way.

The people who want to play in Null are already doing so.

Removing or making hi-sec smaller wont make people playing in hi-sec magically decide to move to null. They can/could of done so at any time before the invasion.

This is not a hard concept.

I hope they won’t define the Trigs’ incursions as “players-created content”

Their line about EVE being a Sandbox has already been shown to be bogus. It might’ve been a sandbox sometime in the past but isn’t one now.

I wonder if the invasion is actually making people move around less, especially as you need to side with edencom or trigs, I know its easy to get one to like you but if you travel around and you have to pass through edecom and trig systems it is going to make a real pain in the arse

I dont get it though.

What are people doing that this is causing them so much hassle?

And also, if they have fudged standings so you cant be neutral to both, its not a universal constant.

its almost like the Trigs are rigged to win…like its not a by-chance thing at all.
