They win systems. Then Gunstars or Werposts are installed and every untanked tech 1 hauler is killed if pilot have negative standings. There is example for EDENCOM Gunstars on zkill. Someone wanted to transport 2 navy ospreys and gunstar killed hauler.
What are their motives?
Serenity is literally controlled by a null bloc that owns over 50% of null it’s a whole new definition to blue donut. And the chinese people don’t disobey authority.
But what are their motives that they wont fight for trigs? Your answer doesnt explain anything. Why that bloc doesnt fight for trigs?
They don’t like invaders.
Again it’s the chinese mindset dude and null politics. They get nothing for turning a system null unlike here. I’m not gonna repeat myself.
This is not motive also.
This is a motive.
So what do they not gain, that some players get here? Is it really so different?
But why? Do they really have nothing to gain, supporting Trigs?
That is a very strange dissimilarity between both servers.
For edencom support you get mining speed, and since the majority of players on serenity are probably bots that helps.
But mining speed is a lot better for player than bot, because bots doesnt really care about being long time at keyboard. Human Player on contrary would spend less time mining, and more time doing something like maybe running abyssal space or some other activities.
Culturally and historically, they don’t like invaders. Kublai Khan conquered in 1279 and the Yuan dynasty ruled until the Ming dynasty gained rule in 1368. You need to fully appreciate the incredibly rich history of the nation. But I’m getting off topic…
What??? Bots can literally mine 24/7 they don’t sleep or eat or do anything other then mine.
Yes, so why they would need more speed if they dont care about speed or time, only numbers of bots count? Because you can always have more of them. The player gain is a lot more than bot gain in case of bonus.
I think Specia1 K is more close to the truth.
Europeans seem to like invading.
Again I’m confused as to what you’re saying but if a system goes edencom fort. And you have mining bots= More ore= More ships and money. Even if it were players and they actually mined it means they mine more ore.
Out of curiosity what exactly is interesting about this “war”? Not that i am a goon or like goons but what exactly is interesting about a war where one side brings almost 3x the numbers as the other side?
Tell me how you sell that to someone who doesn’t play EvE how your war is interesting when you bring beyond overwhelming odds in every battle and there is literally 0 chance of a different conclusion. Then on top of the every victory gains you almost 0 loot because it all was magically teleported via “asset safety” away?
I know people have to tell themselves its engaging and interesting but maybe you should stop for a second and ask yourself why you need to tell yourself that in the first place. Maybe because it isn’t except in your imagination.
The ■■■■ Null people would have us all believe i swear.
They take things as seriously (or more) than anyone on Tranquility.
An interesting perspective, from RnK:
Overall, I think i get it now.
Since Serenity is one country, they can feel unity more than Tranquility in face of opression.
Tranquility have a lot more of bickering, invading, fighting each other people that would betray and destroy each other for money.
Tranquility - the state of collapse.
Its actually interesting how society counts in how game is played.
Geez, that almost sounds like player actions (raising standings with a certain side or not raising standings at all) might have…gasp…consequences??
The side doesnt matter anymore, because the high sec is already really disconnected for players with the standings on both sides. It is just a big mess.
Just the consequences seem to be really weighting everyone down gradually.
Future will be even worse.
The most populous place in New Eden will be really unlivable when this will continue. How that will define the player population in future?
No, I mean what are people doing thats so impossible due to these systems being in this status?
Compromised is freedom of movement. With freedom of movement basically every activity is compromised that makes you change system.
Since game doesnt inform you if there are gunstars on werposts with fleet sitting on the gate before you land there, everyone without third party scout is in bad position.
Ocasionally everyone loses a ship somewhere. For example some pro trigs posting here have lost some faction cruisers to gunstars and exalted navy. No recon before.
It really weights down on everyones wallet.
